A great spot for authentic Persian cuisine in Nashville, especially if you’re interested in trying new flavors. This was a revisit for me, and it did not disappoint. The appetizer was good, though it would be even better with more fresh vegetables on the side. We ordered one Soltani and the mixed platter, which included two koobideh, one shish kabob, one chicken kabob, one lamb shank, and rice topped with barberries and saffron. Everything was well cooked and full of flavor. I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re looking for delicious, well-prepared Persian food.

Absolutely loved our experience at Taste of Persia in Nashville! The BBQ was incredibly delicious, and every dish we tried was fantastic. The vibes and atmosphere are great, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our food came out quickly, which was awesome since we were so hungry. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!

Cute, neat Persian restaurant. Friendly staff and tasty food. We’ve been there for lunch and dinner. Highly recommended. Tahdig dish is a must either with Gheymeh or Ghormesabzi.

I’ve been a devoted fan of Persian cuisine for almost 30 years, ever since a dear Persian friend introduced me to it back in 1998. After relocating from California to Tennessee in 2022, I’ve sampled several local spots, but I was eager to try this one—especially on my birthday, right before heading to a nearby show in Nashville.

The location is straightforward to find, with ample parking—a rare treat in Music City! While the decor isn’t the most elaborate I’ve seen in Persian restaurants, it’s clear the owners prioritize what truly matters: exceptional staff, outstanding service, and masterful chefs who deliver incredible food.

My absolute favorite is Chicken Soltani (known as Joojeh Soltani in traditional terms)—a regal combination of succulent saffron-marinated grilled chicken kebab and flavorful ground beef koobideh, served with fragrant saffron rice and grilled tomatoes. Both the chicken and koobideh here were perfectly executed and absolutely delicious.

I’m thrilled to have discovered this gem—another fantastic Persian restaurant to add to my rotation! Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food and very warm and welcoming staff. First time dining here and it will certainly not be our last! Got some great suggestions from the staff and was very impressed with how beautifully everything was presented, especially the tea service!

Ok. Great atmosphere I have to say. Pretty rare around here. However although it wants to be classy, it fails because of simple mistakes. The bread is sometimes cold sometimes warm. The kebab was not hot at all. The fries are cheap frozen kind (why not make home made fresh fries???) They give you ketchup in small packets as if you are at 5 Guys. The black pepper is of the worst kind (ground at the factory). I give 3 stars for now but I believe they can improve to 5 EASILY! I will be back soon and hopefully will adjust my review

I’m so thankful to Anas with Nashville Hidden Gems for his passport and introducing us to this restaurant. We came to Taste of Persia on a Saturday evening and the inside of the restaurant is so pretty. It’s decorated with florals and really welcoming.

Since we came on Saturday they had music going, which was a bit loud – I don’t think that’s the case every night though.

They bring you some vegetables and pita bread prior to the meal that was complimentary. We ordered a chicken kebab plate and koubideh plate. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. And it looks pretty too! The staff was kind, and while service was a little slow, we didn’t mind. There were a couple of large parties there, so we understood. The portions were large enough we had enough to take home for leftovers.

Parking: There is plenty of free parking in the shared lot of the shopping center.
