We finally made it to Kairu Sushi and Noodle Bar, last night, and since it was dinner time, the place was packed—which is always a good sign! I loved the family-friendly atmosphere, and everyone was so nice and helpful. Uyen, the hostess, found us a table as soon as we entered. I loved that! Maddie was a sweetheart! She gave us great suggestions with the menu and helped us make some good choices.
Let’s talk food! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and very filling. We had the pork belly bao buns, the Lion King Roll, and the Vietnamese summer rolls—which were huge. My husband Pete, who is the biggest critic, was intrigued enough to try the yellowtail (I believe it was the Yellow Dragon Roll), and he gave both the food and service a big thumbs up . We finished with the mango cheesecake, which was delicious!
I’m already looking forward to bringing our son when he’s home from school so he can try their sushi—and definitely enjoy a pot of tea after. Our first visit was such a pleasant experience, and I can’t wait to share Kairu with our friends and neighbors in nearby Davidson.

Loved the menu variety and the sushi I ordered. Presentation was appetizing and sushi was delicious. There was a 20 min wait to get a table at dinner. This was an accurate wait time. Staff were friendly and professional. Food arrived quickly, within 15 mins, after we ordered. Atmosphere was loud but you can still talk ok. Will def return.

I dined at this restaurant on February 14th for Valentine’s Day with my family and, unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. My husband ordered the fried rice with steak, and the steak was served extremely undercooked. He sent it back, but when it returned, the steak was even more undercooked than before and the dish was cold.
I ordered the udon noodles with steak and found a metal fragment in my food, which was very concerning. Our children ordered chicken nuggets and fries, which were fine, and my daughter also had udon noodles with chicken without issue.
The waiter was very apologetic and did his best to address the situation, which we appreciated. However, the manager’s response was minimal and lacked the level of concern we would have expected given the circumstances.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant, particularly during busy times.

It was ok. Edible. Presentation was nice as well. Took a while for the waitress to acknowledge that I was sitting there.
I ordered Black Tonkatsu, a Spicy Tuna roll, a Cucumber roll (not on the menu), and the Pink Dragon. The Black Tonkatsu was warm, not hot, and I asked for extra Shoyu eggs (supposed to be soy sauce eggs cooked soft boiled). The eggs were cold on the inside too .. without a single drop of soy sauce. They were …. Disappointing. The “black garlic pork broth” tasted like water. No garlic, no sodium, nothing. The pork was flavorless too, unfortunately.
Once my sushi came out about ten minutes after the ramen did (odd timing for something that wasn’t cooked), I couldn’t figure out where to put my soy sauce. If I poured it directly on the plate, it likely would have spilled on me and the counter because the plate was a board with no sides. And I didn’t get anything to put the soy sauce in either. The rolls seemed pretty heavy too, I’m not sure sushi rice was used but I ate more of the sushi than the ramen.
And lastly, my Sprite was flat.
Overall, it was edible but I probably won’t return.

Amazing food! Amazing service! Ordered black tonkotsu with pork, we shared a sake salmon roll and my wife had the same but with chicken and veggies. The salmon melts in your mouth like butter on a hot piece of toast. The lemon enhances the sweetness of the sauce and the roll tastes super fresh. Our waiter recommended it and glad we ordered it to share. When your waiter gets excited and smiles big when explaining their favorite you know it has to be good. He was so helpful and went into detail of the different flavors in the ramen. Super happy with the food service and great atmosphere as well. My taste buds were dancing happily with every bite! Ask for Nehemiah you won’t be disappointed with him, great attitude provides great service. Oh and we had dessert! That didn’t disappoint either!

Kairu Sushi & Noodle Bar is a clean, well-kept restaurant with a great atmosphere and comfortable seating. There’s a large selection of sushi to choose from, and the food is always fresh. Service has been consistently good, and I’ve enjoyed the noodle dishes on previous visits, they’re delicious!
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good sushi fix in a pleasant setting.

So HAPPY we found this place! EXCELLENT Food and Service. We had Lunch. We ordered Drinks and Appetizers. My husband’s and son ordered the Ramen Soup. I had the Taki Udon with Shrimp that included 2 Spring Rolls and 2 Pork Dumplings. For dessert we had Mango and Green Tea Mochi and Mango and Green Tea Cheesecake. EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT! It was worth the drive from Landis! Thank you Yang!

Stopped in for a quick early dinner and was excited to see they offer 50% off sushi rolls on Wednesdays! I had two and they were great. I especially liked that they don’t cut HUGE pieces that are hard to eat–these are perfectly sized but still a generous portion overall.
I had the Volcano and the 704 roll, and both were great. Our server, Salem was very attentive and helpful with recommendations!

First time here and we had super yummy food here. Half off appetizers! Chicken hibachi, pan fried dumplings, crab ragoons, and dynamite roll. Good portions and all delicious. Our server Maddie was super sweet and very attentive. Would definitely come back again.
