I’ve been a customer here for years, but my recent visits have been extremely disappointing. The fish and chips are dreadful. The batter is thick, wet, and greasy, and it separates from the fish completely. The fish itself is dry and not flaky at all, and the chips are dry and unappealing. I even tried having them delivered recently, and they were just as bad – they refunded me, but hoping for better, I drove to collect them today… only to be met with the same poor quality. This used to be decent, but it’s now consistently awful. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back.

This chippy used to be our favourite however for some time now we have been disappointed.
Our delivery last night was awful
The chips had no taste, they used to be very tasty, most of them hard, cod was dry the batter had mostly stuck to the paper as it was oily, spent almost £40 the delivery was late.

First time I’ve tried food from here. As a postie who delivers in the area, I thought I’d give it a taste. It’s usually super busy and nowhere to park my van, but I got lucky. I had chips and gravy, hand on my heart, I was literally blown away with the chips. Never tried chips like them melt in the mouth, soft and fluffy. I’ll be back !!

I visited this chip shop and asked for a regular chips and a large battered sausage I know I was just getting to the chip shop as they had only just opened about 12:10pm.
To start off with the portion size is very good the price was £4 I drove back to work unwrapped my dinner and found out that the chips are last night’s chips warmed up they are not fresh chips I’ve eaten enough packets of chips to know when chips are old and dry and warmed up.
The battered sausage may look like a battered sausage but it was soft and mushy and what I hope is some kind of meat inside I wouldn’t even give to my dog☹ never mind me eat it. The review would have got a one star if it was not for the portion size of chips.
So disappointed another £4 that is going in the bin for me to look for somewhere else to get some dinner later on

Pleasant visit – lovely lady working in there, food fresh and tasty. Not greasy like in other chip shops. Shame this place is not our local as we would be regular customers.
