The sweet lady at the cash register and the sweet lady who brings to-go orders to customers were soooo wonderful!
The food was completely terrible….cold, no gravy on the chicken fried steak, no biscuits and gravy, then it was not really even warm.
Chocolate coca-cola cake was super dry and crumbly. 1st time I ever had one that wasn’t moist.

We had an early morning breakfast (7:15am) so it wasn’t busy by any means. Our server was great. Very friendly and attentive. The food was perfectly prepared, presented and delicious. Price was very reasonable especially with as much food as we got. Couldn’t even finish it all and had to bring some home. I also like the new scan and pay option on the bill.

I haven’t been here in awhile so I was extremely pleased that the quality of customer service was not compromised since last time. I used to work here so I know how tough the work can be and how challenging some of the regulars are. Everyone from the hostess Lily Rose(who was an absolute peach that I noticed made genuine connections with everyone who came in and had a bright and cheerful demeanor), to the server Kerstina(who was very kind, soft, and diligent even despite unusually long ticket times. She maintained composure and communication through the pressure), and all the way to the cashier and support staff whose names I didn’t catch. I will start to come back more regularly again simply because of this. The food is amazing as always, but what really sells it to me is being able to get out without fear that I will be treated with passive aggressive restaurant staff which unfortunately has become common in a lot of restaurants these days.

Everything came out at once within 3 minutes of placing my order which means their fried chicken is done well in advance & it tasted like it too. The salad was very nice and I ate my salad as fast as I could but everything was pretty much barely warm by the time I got to it. The corn bread rolls were very old & crusty. Jan our waiter was wonderful! Not sure whether he made the mistake or the kitchen, but our eight person table had one order missing. When the missing order arrived the over easy eggs didn’t look the best and was missing the biscuit and gravy. Gravy was brought out and said the biscuits were in the oven. I asked for the manager and Oliver quickly came out. I explained that the food was fine (didn’t mention the eggs) and that Kam has been a great server/waiter. Explained the forgotten order and the 10 minute wait for the biscuits. Oliver appeared to not give a hoot and said he would take the one order off.

I’ve been a fan of Cracker barrel for over 20 years. Last night dinner wasn’t what it used to be. The white gravy tasted like flour. It made mashed potatoes tast like flour. The chicken fried stake, tasted old, didn’t have the flavor of old days. It might be a fluke or the line cook really doesn’t know how to make a good tasting gravy. Maybe do a taste test before serving the food.

Absolutely got the worse waitress ever! We waited about 20minutes to get a table, normal Cracker Barrel. But at the table we waited for our waitress to acknowledge us. She was so slow. My husband chose hamburger steak(medium well), fries and okra. I ordered the fried fish plate with mac & cheese and dumplings. We both chose sweet tea and biscuits. The tea tasted sour to me, so i traded for soda. It took along time, she brought it to me and told me they had to wash a glass. ONE HOUR before our food came. My husband got his… the hamburger steak was “crispy”, and dry.. he only got his okra, had to ask for his fries. So all my food came out… my ” fish” was so over cooked (see pictures) that there was NO fish. Waitress laughed about it and said she would get me some more. She tried to take the bad fish and i said i want to see the manager. She even told the lady at the next table that the cook was trying to send out more bad fish. It was funny to her. Manager took my food off of the bill. I think it all should have all been comped. Manager was very understanding. I hate it but i do good reviews and bad reviews because people should know. We did give a tip, didn’t feel right not to. Oh yeah the biscuits were good.

Best fried catfish I’ve had in a LONG time!! Macaroni and fried apples were awesome also! Every thing was hot and fresh. Server was wonderful.

Stopped in here on our way to Florida and it turned out not to bad but didn’t hit the spot like Cracker Barrel usually does when we eat there for breakfast. I had the Grandma’s Sampler plate my wife had the Biscuits and gravy with sausage and my sister had the French toast. The sausage had a summer sausage taste which wasn’t bad but definitely different. The pancakes I ate had an awkward taste but not bad and the country ham and bacon had a good flavor. Scrambled eggs were on the runny side but still decent. The service was excellent from the waitress she was on top of our drink orders and refills. Only complaint I have on the drink end is the chocolate milk was out of a kids milk carton like you got from the lunch line in school yard days. I would think it would be more fitting to have cold and in a glass. Overall not bad but definitely not the best except in the staff service and friendliness.
