Very packed! Had to wait 5-7 minutes to get a seat. Very good food! Had Mahi tacos with fries and ranch. Got my order perfectly! Kind of loud but basketball game kept me entertained. Came from about 12:30 to 1:45. Very nice staff and restaurant! Will come here again!

Being from Texas and seeing a restaurant in Kansas advertising TexMex food made me skeptical….. but they delivered.
My chimi was cooked perfect and had just the right seasoning. The white caso dip was flavorful and not too spicy. The beans and rice were… beans and rice. Good, but nothing to write home about.
I was pleasantly surprised – it was a good lunch. And or waiter was wonderful. I recommend giving Jose Pepper’s a try.

It was not good our server kept forgetting we he things we asked for, like salsa- we had to ask for it 3 times and she still didt bring it. We asked for a drink in a cup and she didt bring the cup for it when we asked 2 times. I didt get my lemon for my water when I asked. Also my friend got something with flour tortillas so we asked and we didt get them so we asked someone else and they still didt bring it, then the manager came to us so we asked for them and he even didt bring them. Lastly I got almost no beans with my meal.

We were seated quickly and even though our server was on the constant move, she took care of our needs and was very friendly. Our food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I do wish we’re got more corn casserole, though. It was maybe a tablespoon in size.

Jose Pepper’s probably has the best salsa in the area. It’s what keeps me coming back (my addiction to their salsa is real). I order the same thing every time – tequila lime chicken (not on their menu) and have never been disappointed. I can’t really speak to anything else on their menu, but I did order cheese enchiladas with queso, once. It came with very little cheese and beyond a normal amount of onions. I never ordered that again and have been happy with my tequila lime chicken instead. Their margaritas are hit or miss, but I’m a water drinker so take that as you will. This location is my go-to for when I don’t know what to do for dinner and don’t want fast food.

Waiter was a little slow. But food was really good. Very friendly service with host.
Overall good bang for the buck. Had the Jose burger, and stuffed jalapenos. Also their espinaca (spinach) dip was really good. Their salsa and chips were good.

Always a favorite. Every time I’ve taken someone that’s never been, they always love it. I eat here once or twice a week. Can’t go wrong with classics like Monterey chicken buritto or Pollo magnifico! But the steak tower on the appetizer menu is great. (I ask for them to substitute the normal dipping sauce for the tomatilla ranch. So good!) The blackened chickened Verde is currently my favorite! The chicken & chorizo buritto is also amazing!

Avoid RJ as your server. Terrible service. No drink refill. Didn’t check on me after chips were delivered. Asked for a box. He cleared the table in front of me and carried 2 dirty bowls in my to go box before attempting to hand it to me. I refused the box and left. Beyond unacceptable! I ordered the dinner size chimi’s but I left half of it there wasted because the server doesn’t have enough sense to keep a to-go box clean from another tables soiled bowls.
