Past 10 years I was going this place. My family and I went for an early dinner today. The Jeya was nice and very professional.
The Uthappam I ordered was absolutely delicious. A lot of podi and veggies and made it extra spicy for us.
Even the cleaning staff was prompt, and took our dishes as soon as we finished our meal.
Definitely recommend everyone to try this place out

Best butter chicken I’ve had in Scarborough so far, it was so rich and creamy.
Over ordered on the menu as we wanted to try a bit of everything such as the dosa and biryani and everything was delicious!
Service was also really good, they checked in and also helped give recommendations.

What a lucky person I am that finally friends took me to not just a typical Indian restaurants, this was THE restaurant that was specialized in Tamil Nadu(Chettinad) cuisine since 2009.
We indeed had a feast and I wanted more but my stomach was not big enough order the entire things on the menu

Visited this place recently and had a mixed experience. At the entrance, there was a Sri Lankan lady who took the order and gave the receipt. Unfortunately, her facial expression was off-putting, she was showing a weird face throughout, which didn’t feel welcoming at all. Because of that, I didn’t feel like giving any tips.
Now coming to the food and ambience, they’ve done a great job making the place look like one of the Karaikudi house. It really gives you that traditional South Indian vibe. I ordered Chettinadu Chicken Masala, and the taste and smell were absolutely fantastic, I can still remember it but portion size is too small compared to the price.
I also tried the parotta and naan. Parotta was okay, but ordering naan was a mistake. It had a strong yeast smell, clearly showing that the dough was overproofed.
The Seeraga Samba Biriyani was excellent, full of flavor and cooked just right. I also tried the noodles, and it was more like Tamil Nadu style noodles, not the usual Hakka type, which I really liked.
Overall, except for the naan and the awkward staff interaction, everything else was better than I expected.

Best Indian food ever! Their Biryanis are truly some of the best I’ve ever had. The food always seems fresh and of high quality. Spice levels are perfect even for more western stomachs.
Service could be better and the music is a bit too loud for my liking. Nevertheless, I will be returning as many times as I can.

Today I went into this restaurant witha bad mood, but when I tasted the food it was divine, I had to keep eating until couldn’t anymore. When my son was done eating there were only scraps left. The butter naan was right up to the name being both crispy and soft at the same time and when paired with the butter chicken gravy it was op to the godly levels thank you for everything karukudi it was very tasty

Ordered mutton soup – tasted like homemade but a bit too watery. Kothu roti was okay. Noodles, however, were totally bland with no spice or salt. When I asked to change the dish, the server said it wasn’t possible and only offered to add some seasoning with salt and pepper. Overall, an average experience that could be improved with better flavor and flexibility.

We came here to celebrate my mother’s retirement and it was a very enjoyable evening.
The service was fantastic with very attentive staff who made sure the dishes were cleared off when empty but were very polite about it.
The food was very well prepared and did not hold back on the portions or spices.

The restaurant is one of the best authentic South Indian restaurant in Scarborough. The food is rich with vibrant flavours, very well prepared and delicious. They have a quiet a big Manu options including veg and non veg even with some North Indian style. Interior is clean and tidy, nicely decorated with South Indian vibe. They have a lot of seating space. Soft music in the background goes well with the quiet ambiance. The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming.

This is a nice place to enjoy a pretty good South Indian meal with family and friends. I love the Hyderabad chicken biriyani and the Chettinad style side dishes. Besides this, they have a variety of Dosas, Naan breads, Veg and Non Veg dishes are all so good. Plenty of options for everyone visiting the restaurant. Prices are little on the higher side but take advantage of their specials and various discounts. I usually like to visit on the weekends. Everything is good and tasty.
