Mr. Smash Burgers definitely hit the spot. The burger was delicious, and the smash patty was the perfect thickness, not too thin, especially since I went with a double. The skinny fries were seasoned so well, seriously yum. Even though they ran out of napkins, the staff still tried to accommodate, which I appreciated. I visited while they were set up near the park, and while there were a lot of dogs around, the seating area stayed clean and comfortable. The wind even knocked a few fries out of the container but honestly, I’ll be back for more. Overall, a really solid burger and I would gladly come back.

After the newly re-opened Huizenga Park made its debut, Mr. Smash Burger did not come here to leave the people hungry.
With the smell of angus beef from down the block leading me to the food truck’s simple window, I took a chance on satiating my appetite by ordering their Mr. Smash Burger Classic (Double), and a His-panic Smash burger (also Double) with a side of fries.
The verdict? Smashed. Gone. Devoured.
To be completely frank, you could easily eat 2 of them in one sitting. The beef was fresh, the buns were soft, and the sauce was dripping good. The fries were golden crisp on the outside, soft on the inside.
After conquering my hunger, I was able to enjoy the park scenery and all its quirky city folk going about their lives.
Overall, 10/10, would smash again. ✨

This is a new location in the Huizenga Park. There’s a seating area. I ordered a smash classic double, with fries. The service was organized and prompt. Nobody complained about the wait time, or orders being wrong or incomplete. The burger itself I cannot judge because it was drenched in the house sauce, which might be some sort of mustard and ketchup mix. The burger was still juicy, but it could have been because of the sauce and cheese. I would have to try again without the sauce. The fries were warm and very well seasoned and bit salty for my preference. But still very good crunch and flavor. Several people tried the milkshake and I got good positive feedback on them but I did not try it myself. In total we spent about $40 for 2 people so around $20 p/p. I would try again but like I said without the sauce and maybe a milkshake.

Bea and I are serious burger people. We pride ourselves on hunting down the best burgers in every city we visit, and today, January 31, 2026, we finally tried the new local burger truck on Las Olas… and it absolutely blew us away.
Hands down one of the best burgers we’ve ever had. The loaded fries? Unreal. And the sauces? Straight-up to die for.
We were also lucky enough to meet the owners…family-owned, incredibly friendly, and with an amazing story about how they built their business. You can truly taste the passion in every bite.
After today, I’m proud to call Mr. Smash Burgers our friends.
We’ll be back weekly. No question.

WOWWW! I can’t stop raving to all my friends and family about this place! The burgers are so good! First time I’ve seen a smash burger place have chicken option! The chicken bacon ranch is too die for! Their burger model on top of the truck is so cute too!
