RUN, do not walk to the nearest Lou Malnati’s! This is my favorite deep dish in all of Chicago! The crust is perfect & the staff is amazing! Highly recommended that you get some melted butter on the side, they are $1 a piece but worth every penny! YUM!!

My family has been loving Lou’s pizza (thin and deep dish) for years, but tonight they blew me away. Their customer service is above and beyond any standards! Their team is so considerate in the ways they make sure our experience is pleasant. They take ownership of any issue, then act swiftly to resolve it.
We have been loyal Lou’s lovers since our time in the city and it has continued since moving to Elmhurst. Hands down the best deep dish in the city, with a thin crust that is almost equally as amazing. We often do deep dish tasting from multiple restaurants for friends that come in from out of town. You can’t eat inside, and after you pay $30 and wait a half hour, you get a COLD pizza that doesn’t even take up a dinner plate. Please go to Chicago’s Pizza and save yourself so much fuss. Actually one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. I’d take square school pizza over this…
UPDATE pizza crust was so hard it hurt my stomach. It felt like rocks to eat.
The crust is HARD, like hurt your teeth. I got gluten free?? Do they know how to cook that??? The box is warm, but the pizza itself is cold. Like hard cheese on the inside. Sasuage is grey and bad. It barely tastes like tomatoes. Overall I’m upset and won’t be going back. Save yourself money and time by scraping up some gum from the benches at the park, atleast that tastes better.
Waste of money.
Also they told me it would be a half our wait AFTER I paid. I was shaking hungry when I arrived, like… Damn. Y’all took the time to MAKE SURE you did everything wrong. Thanks for the cold hard pizza and loss of $36 dollars.

This pizza was fantastic! Truth be told, this was my first deep dish pizza, and it did not disappoint. The crust was buttery and rich but not overly thick. The sauce was chunky and full of garlic and herb flavor. We had The Lou which had layers of cheese, spinach, and mushroom, topped with thick slices of tomatoes. Four adults split a small pizza.
