It is a typical Sushi restaurant, located at Jess Ranch Marketplace in Apple Valley. I have visited this location, once, in June of 2024, while visiting my relatives in High Desert. The meals, that I have ordered were predominately sushi rolls. Oh boy, those rolls were well-made. At the same time, they were delicious. Of course, price wise, it was costly, and I have paid around $120.00, with the inclusion of the tip. Despite the high cost, the place was mostly empty. So, I had the chance to sit down, and enjoy a meal. At the same time, the place was neat, and well-maintained. I cannot forget to mention, that I came during day time, in the middle of the week. So, for this reason, the establishment might have been empty. Despite the emptiness during weekday, if anyone has discretionary funds, and wants to enjoy some Sushi meals, I would recommend to stop by this establishment. It is located at Jess Ranch Marketplace, on Bear Valley Road, and nearby Victor Valley College.

Oh boy, I do not regret visiting this restaurant. During my visit, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. The tables, too, were neat. During my visit, there were no patrons, of course it might have been due to opening up, since I came around 12:00 PM. The meals, were delicious. If my memory serves me well, I have ordered several rolls of sushi. I had to take some of them home, since I could not finish all of them in the restaurant. The prices, though, were on the expensive side. Still, each dollar was worth the price. So, if anyone is in High Desert area, especially in Apple Valley, I would recommend a visit to this restaurant!

This place has always had rude staff, but this time crossed a line.
I was refused a table, something that has never happened to me at any restaurant before. The experience felt discriminatory, especially toward families.
I arrived with my two kids and struggled just to enter the restaurant. A staff member was standing right next to me and did not offer any help at all. When I tried to seat myself, the woman stood in my way, looked at me completely confused, and asked—in a rude tone—“What do you need?”
I mean… I’m in a restaurant. I’m trying to get a table. What else would I need?
She then told me I couldn’t take that table. The entire interaction made me feel unwelcome and judged for being there with children.
I WILL NEVER come back to this restaurant and I’m not recommending it to anyone.

Love the sushi here! Great selection, many options. Lunch plate specials are awesome. We love the service here. You feel welcomed. Chef was great and checked in with us to see if we enjoyed our meal. Our spot for sushi in Apple Valley

This is purely based on the service alone, food was good but there is a older lady who works there that is EXTREMELY rude! Unfortunately because of the way she is my family and I will not eat there anymore since its been a problem every single time we have gone in. Im sure we are not the only ones with this complaint considering our door dasher made the same comment after he had picked up an order from there.

I have been going to this place for years. The sister who run it are always so happy and nice. I do have a favorite chef he makes my food the best. Sushi pizza,monkey brains,dragon roll…just to name a few of my favs. I go at least once a month

I posted a review a week ago of my last experience but I think they took my review down this will be my second and last review if it gets taken down then I tried, but like I said before I have been a very very loyal frequent customer never once complained until now after continuing to order from here because it has been my favorite sushi place but there quality of food has gone down and now there recipe has changed after years of getting the same thing I called to ask if something changed and turns out it did which I have no problem now I know. But its the quality of food ive been getting these last few times i know they know my order and who i am ive never thought i was difficult mabe in there eyes i am, I dont know just makes me sad to let go of my favorite sushi spot, and i never liked to speak up and when I do they treat me rudely and rather than argue ill just take my hungry self elsewhere ♀️ I just said ok thank you goodbye but the pictures don’t lie. I use to speak so highly of this place.

I always get the baked green mussels and tempura calamari. Everyone enjoyed their sushi, it was fresh and good. The service was good as well.
