We enjoyed a wonderful and filling breakfast this morning. The service is incredible, the waitresses are so sweet and kind! Our food was hot, delicious, and was prepared quickly. I had more food on my plate than I expected! I highly recommend!

This is a real old timers restaurant.
Food is cooked properly, and nothing wrong with it.
Food is like you would make at home.
Friendly staff making you feel welcomed.
My downsides were Home frys were not seasoned, just deap fried potatoes.
Toast was just warmed bread.
Steak in the Philly omelet could have been diced smaller.
But you will have a decent meal if you are in the area.

Our server was so sweet, informative and patient. We weren’t sure what we wanted and she walked us through the menu, so that we not only got what we wanted but we got the best prices. The food came out quickly and the atmosphere was very comfortable. This place is a small town diner with lots of locals and smiling faces.

I’ve been here before and for the most part their food is good. However, today I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Omelet expecting it to be made with the shaved steak that you get in a Philly sub. Instead it was made with what I believed to be hamburger or possibly ground steak. It wasn’t very good and certainly not what I wanted. It was very greasy. With that said, the service is always good.

The service and small town dinner set us are great. The food was fine but was lacking alot of flavor. We had to add salt and pepper to the biscuits & gravy if that tells you anything. We wanted to love it so much but it was just ok.

All of the waitresses and cashiers are friendly and awesome. The biscuits and gravy, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, grits, omelettes and seafood platter are all lip-smacking delicious but the type of ham used in the grits and omelette was not good at all. But I would still highly recommend this restaurant to any and everyone local and visiting Haywood county!!!

This is by far my favorite restaurant. I live 3.5 hrs away and make the trip to Clyde 3 or 4 times a year just to eat at the pioneer! If you’ve never been, you have to stop in for breakfast!
