**2025 Update**
Returned for my birthday as a treat from the family. I had the Chicken Sylheti Gosht. Delicious spices, just the right amount of heat, and super tender chicken. The most delicious curry I’ve had (and I have had many, as it is my favourite). Great service, delicious food, and friendly, comfortable surroundings made for another lovely visit. Upgraded to 5 stars.

My family took me here to celebrate Father’s Day early. We had a great night! The staff were friendly and helpful, and ready to advise us on the curries based on our tastes. I normally have the same sort of dish, but I decided to try something new and went for the Juicy Sylheti Gosht (hot lamb dish), which was spicy and delicious! The starters were good, but it was the main dishes that really shone. I’d recommend for a night out or casual drop in. Great food, great service, and great people. Thanks Haldi, we’ll definitely come to you again (we’ll try something else from the menu for our next takeaway!)

Comfort food with a great atmosphere.
We came here because of the good reviews and I can confirm that the food is very good and the atmosphere is great.
We tried booking on a Saturday evening and were told that they were fully booked until 8.30 pm. Undeterred, we still came here and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the price.

Great food! We had vegetarian options and they were all great. Food took a long time but was worth it. Music a bit weird and the cd keeps skipping. Again though the food made it worth it all. Staff were very nice!

Right from the start, we felt welcomed. We took a seat close to where we preferred, I forgot my reading glasses and the staff actually gave me some to use so to read the menu.
From starter to main, they were so attentive and the soirée, lasting a while, became a grand part of my final holiday memories. The food was delicious and a huge thank you to the chef, to the waiter and floor manager and hope to see you next year.

The food here is just ok but the menu is misleading. We ordered a Narabi tandoori (mixed grill). It was supposed to include ‘lamb chops’ but it was one tiny piece of overcooked, tough, boney lamb. When we questioned this with the waiter, he told us that the menu was misprinted! The other meats only had one piece of each too, which means the mixed starter would have been a better deal at half the price. Not worth the £14.95 they charged. See photos.
