Not even hot or cooked. Cheese should have blisters and golden spots. Crust should be golden. Does this look appetizing to you? Place is kinda dirty with beer signs and inop games piled up. Pizza is as messy as the dining room. Hard pass.

Food: I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, green bell peppers, and sausage. More importantly I got “twice over”, the crust is toasted a little bit more. Dough itself is an amazing base, it really is good. The sauce is nice and zesty! And the toppings and cheese tasted fresh.
Service: Pick up, order was done through a mobile delivery service. A red sticker was placed on the seam of the box, to indicate a unbroken seal. Pizza came intact and hot.
Final thought: This place is solid for pizza! Their takeout is always perfect but there’s also a dining area with a few game machines. I want to go back and try their wings

This location has been open since 1971. Kevin is the new and 2nd owner operator — great guy, great service. Pizza is outstanding. My first order of Barro’s pizza was 1981, at a location in West LA. This Barro’s is the last one in CA. Worth the drive to try out.

Went to visit a friend who had ordered pizza a week before and he shared with me. I was very impressed by this delicious pizza from Barro’s that I had to go for myself and try more. I was not disappointed. Crust, a lot of toppings and the sauce was so excellent. People, I tried other pizza places in Whittier, but very few make it so good like Barro’s. And staff is great!

I’ve been coming to this one for many years. I recently learned that George Tibbet-the king of pizza retired and sold Barro’s to Kevin. He is serving the same delicious pies. It’s like George never left.
The crust is amazing and I always finish it. Some would say it’s a lot of bread, but that’s part of Sicilian style pizza. The sauce is also incredible only to be matched by the cheese and toppings. I drive for 35 minutes to get this and it is completely worth it! I hope that they can open up for dine in again. I always loved eating a slice or two before taking the rest home!

One of the best pizza places around great taste fresh ingredients and they top it right everything is great. And you can pick lite or heavy sauce. Well done if you like that crunch like me. Pepperoni sausage mushrooms and bell pepper is my go to.
