Me and my husband recently went here as a date night during our holiday in torquay as an American i always want to try british American food. And this place had some of the best American food ive ever had outside of the US my burger had so much flavor qnd my husband’s steak and chicken,the steak was perfectly cooked and the glaze on the chicken. My Girlfriend and I come here every month as a treat. Best burger in Devon, we always order the same thing and I think the lovely staff are starting to catch on . The cocktails are great and the price of the food is respectable as the quality is second to none. The staff are always so kind and quick to get us in and take our order. Wanted to love it, but fell short.
I dropped in for my first visit to Joe’s recently. To be fair, there was a large party going on at the time, so I tried to be patient, but even with that in mind, the experience didn’t hit the mark.
The service was definitely on the slow side. I ordered the Hawaiian burger, but the chicken was really dry and the glaze had hardened so much it made the whole thing tough to eat. The Cajun fries were also a letdown—pretty tasteless and felt like they’d missed the seasoning entirely.
I’m all for supporting local spots, but for a first-time visit, the food was just too dry and plain to justify the wait.

Visited with family on the last night of our holiday, after reading some positive reviews. The service was fine – our servers were perfectly pleasant. However the food was really awful. The burgers look like cheap frozen ones – the kids’ burger was especially bad. Limp and anaemic. And the pulled pork was more like minced meat in a BBQ sauce.
A really disappointing final meal on our holiday, and very over-priced for the quality. There is also no veggie option for kids, which is a small, yet annoying detail. Would not recommend.

The staff here were brilliant very helpful . The food was absolutely phenomenal cooked to perfection on the 3 days i visited over Easter . I had fillet steak med rare with no glaze . I also had 2 bacon toppers as the bacon was that good . My family also joined me for one night and they said the same as me the food was phenomenal . Cant recommend this steak house enough . Complements to the chef. Cant wait to come back wish i lived closer.

Went here for a Xmas evening. My team at Age UK Torbay were invited by our man with van team (Nellys removals). The service was good and speedy. The food was lovely. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection and good portions. I will definitely be recommending.
