TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Really great service by Kate tonight (12/02 at 830pm). She was very warm and welcoming. As we were eating she came and asked us how everything was which is rare for a fast food place! She made sure to keep moving, cleaning up the lobby and the tables, which again… rare for a fast food place! Food came out pretty fast and was really good and great portion sizes! This is a really nice location!

Best chicken my tastebuds have ever made contact with. the seasoning , the slaw , don’t even get me started on the juicy fat crunchy pickles. i can’t stop coming back here . every time i start my car it just knows where to go and i wind up in the parking lot every single time. if i had $10 left and my kids were starving and i could pick between groceries or dave’s hot chicken . i’d pick dave’s hot chicken .i would eat it all not leaving even a crumb . who ever was working today in that kitchen deserves more than a raise. they deserve to be pampered and treated like royalty for the rest of their lives. please if your single let me spoil you, my cute delicious chicken cooker. i want to liquify this stuff and get it pumped through my veins on an iv. please come here and eat this chicken so your life too can be changed .

So I accidentally chose the wrong location (Lockport) while using the app. I called that location and they immediately took care of it by calling the correct location (Orland Park) and ordering on my behalf. When I went to pick up the store was extremely busy. The two young ladies upfront greeted me while attending to the other customers. The store was busy but yet still clean. I love Dave’s bc the foods always good. The employees are always friendly. The stores always clean

I visited on Thursday on opening day at 10:30 am. I ordered the Dave’s bites with fries for $9.99. I had them seasoned hot. Hot is very hot! Hot Hot! Bites were very tender, juicy, and tasted great! Fries were crinkle cut and were hot and fresh. It was also served with pickles, a slice of white bread, and Thousand Island cup for dipping. I also asked for ketchup and honey. Very tasty meal but I think next time I will get a milder seasoning! Try it! You will like it. Judith was the greeter at the door and staff and management stopped by my table to check on me several times. They are all very nice people. The manager brought me a medium tender and it was very good too. I highly recommend this location.

Staff members were super friendly and welcoming, especially Abby. It was my first visit and Abby made sure to tell me about the different options and answered all questions I had. The food was great. Chicken tenders were flavorful and juicy. They were NOT too bready or dry, like other chicken tender places. The fries were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Kudos to the people cooking the food!! If they stay consistent, the food will always be on point and customers will be happy! The inside of the restaurant had a fun and happy atmosphere. Looking forward to going back!

I have always had a fantastic experience here! Most recently, today, Kate was amazing. She was patient with my long order, reminded me to scan my receipt for rewards, and brought my to go order to me as opposed to just calling my number. She was so awesome! This location’s food is a 10/10 every time, and the store is always so clean! I recommend this place to everyone!

Friends and family have told me great things about Dave’s food so figured I’d take the 35 min trip and try it. I walked in and ordered food. The food was good however the cashier Monica had a very sour smell. Normally I am not one to comment on someone’s smell but it made me lose my appetite

Tried out the new Dave’s Hot Chicken in Lockport, and it did not disappoint! The food was incredible—perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. But what really stood out was the staff. Every employee had great energy and was super friendly, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a must-try spot!
