We had some shopping to do and time to kill. We decided to stop in to grab a quick lunch, and it did not disappoint, from friendly service, to the food. We got a single 1 topping slice of pizza, and it was delicious. We decided to door dash some full sized pizzas the next day. We ordered a 16” pepperoni and sausage and a 24” pepperoni pizza! The crust, sauce, and topping proportions are perfect! Highly recommend! The family is extremely picky with pizza. We don’t care for a thick crust, or an overly saucy pizza. We found our new pizza place.

I was at the mall for something else and was really hungry so I gave this place a shot. I got salad and a slice and had a lot left over so I took it home for my husband. We both really love it. Now I crave the orange Italian dressing. I really love the chef salad, the slices, the Stromboli and the garlic knots. I drive to the mall now just to get food to go.

Ordered 8 jumbo pizzas for a varsity baseball team and parents less than an hour before close. They stayed late to get our order done, helped us the car with all our jumbo pizzas all while apologizing for it taking so long. It took 40 mins to make and cook EIGHT jumbo pizzas – not long at all. Great service and some of the best pizza I’ve had since The Hill in St. Louis.

This is far and away the best pizza money can buy anywhere in the Kansas City metro area. Whether it’s the Overland Park location, the Blue Springs location, or the one in the Independence Mall, the pizza is simply in a league of its own. The biggest issue with Original Pizza is that once you acquire a taste for it, you’ll never want to eat Domino’s, Pizza Hut, or Papa John’s again. They don’t even taste like they belong in the same category of food. Their pizzas are huge, and I personally order the 24″ pizza often, take it home, and eat the leftovers for days. The largest pizza from Original Pizza is roughly the same price as a large from any other pizza establishment, but you get about twice the amount of food, and it actually tastes incredible. The largest box will not fit in anyone’s fridge by the way. If you bring this pizza home and expect leftovers, you’re going to need to preemptively figure out how you’re getting it in the fridge. It also heats up in the oven and tastes just as fresh as when you bought it. Stop eating other pizzas, just eat here.

My family and I got food poisoning the day after we eat it and it was the last thing me and my family ate. We felt horrible and we all threw up the whole day. The crust was very soggy and toppings kept falling off of it. My kids love pizza so I knew something was wrong when they wouldn’t eat yours…very disappointed.

After going to the 119th and Antioch Original Pizza a year ago, not realizing it was not the same pizza I knew from my usual place.
It was not at ALL as good, I actually didn’t like it at ALL!
After learning there were more locations with different names, I asked the question on here 4 months ago if this was the same pizza as the one I used to go to A LOT at 135th in Overland Park. I was sad that they closed that location.
After learning that it was, after things have kind of gotten back to normal lately after Covid, I decided to go today.
Man I’m glad I did!!!! LOVED it and was more like the pizza I missed!
So to anyone who loves Original Pizza, don’t think all of them are the same because they’re not!!!

Had Grubhub delivery and all I can say is WOW! We are new to the area and trying to find new spots to frequent. I ordered the Baked Ziti, Chicken platter, Greek salad, gyro, and a side of fries. Large portions were worth the fair prices. Everything was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. I will order again!
