New favorite spot for Chinese-American food. The Kung Pao chicken lunch special was delivered piping hot with and positively delicious. The sauce had great flavors, the chicken was tender, and a balanced amount of fresh veggies. Truly the best I’ve had in town, and also for the best price I’ve seen around. The egg drop soup, egg rolls, and rangoons were also all delivered to a high standard. And as others have said, the serving sizes are truly generous. Thank you!

Insane lunch specials… 10 bucks for a full meal with all the usual extras. It was ready in less than 10 minutes so it was great for a quick lunch stop, and cheaper than fast food.

Chicken lo mein is great sweet shower. Chicken is fried perfectly and the pan frying dumplings are great as well. Fried rice was also good. I was staying longer than a week. I would definitely order from here again.

Delicious! I ordered the sesame chicken and the spare ribs. Everything was cooked well and had a great taste. The price is a little higher but the portions are good and so is the taste so it’s worth it. The sesame chicken was labeled as spicy. Even though it had a little spice it was mostly just for the flavor and didn’t burn my mouth at all. Which I liked. I ordered delivery and it arrived quickly.

This place was awful! 1/10. We are visiting and several people referred us here. It’s another place we heard was good right at the corner of where we’re staying and we were told by many to go here instead. For days we wanted to order and finally did and we were extremely disappointed. The combination rice was average. The Mongolian beef had great flavor but the meat was so soggy and soft. The real issue was the orange chicken and the shrimp eggfoo young. They were both awful! Horrible! The egg foo young was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I’ve had that many places and never seen it look deep fried in heavy flour or something. It was dry and hard as a biscuit. And it had nothing to do with the sauce being on the side. Every takeout put the sauce on the side. It was disgusting. The orange chicken had to be days old. It was not fresh and you could taste that it had been warmed up. So extremely disappointed. $70 for disgusting food

Disappointed Longtime Customer
I’ve been coming to Coal Mine Dragon since I was in middle school, and now in my 30s, I can honestly say this place used to be one of the best spots for Chinese food in town. Over the years, I’ve had countless meals here and was always met with warm, attentive customer service and consistently delicious food. Sadly, that no longer seems to be the case.
In the past six months, I’ve eaten here twice, hoping things would improve, but both visits left me disappointed. The food quality has noticeably gone down—the flavors aren’t the same, and it feels like the ingredients are cheaper or not as fresh as they used to be. Something just feels off, and it’s not what I remember or expect from a place I once loved.
The service has also declined. I used to be greeted with a smile and genuine conversation. Now, the staff barely interacts or makes an effort. It feels rushed and impersonal, which is a big change from the friendly atmosphere I grew up with.
It’s honestly heartbreaking to write this because Coal Mine Dragon has been a part of my life for so long. I truly hope they take the feedback seriously and make some changes—both in the kitchen and with their customer service—so the restaurant can return to the high standard it once had.

Best Chinese food!!! We got food from here at least three or four times now and it’s always perfect and delicious! We call for pick up and in 10/15 minutes everything is ready! They give you a box will all the food when you order too much! We always get a meal that comes with rice, chicken, soup, and fried wontons. Favorite soup is the wonton one. The others are ok, very thick consistency for my taste. The fried wontons or egg rolls are delicious! Chicken is always so good and fresh! The sesame chicken is a really spicy! But so good! Dumplings are delicious also! And beef on the stick was so good also, slightly sweet but so so good! Prices are supper affordable for the quantity of food you get! Please come get your food here! You’ll never get disappointed!

Another visit for Take Out and never are we disappointed. How can you do better for under $10 for a meal that is more than you can even eat in one sitting. The The Quck Lunch menu is huge and full of the best chinese food anywhere. 5 Thumbs Up again!
This chinese restaurant is amazing. We walked in and did a take-out order at Lunch for Sweet and Sour Chicken. For under $10, it was amazing the amount of food we obtained – fast prep in under 8 minutes, fast delivery to me at the counter, and a delicious big meal at home. Courteous staff, and a clean, sanitary environment for sure. 5 Thumbs Up for Coal Mine Dragon on Uintah.

Very Yummy! Their food has always been very good. Our family enjoys the sesame chicken and vegetable egg foo young the best. They are always fast and get your food to you quickly when you order takeout. The price is on point with other Chinese restaurants in the area – but the amount of food is much more than most other places. They also have family dinner deals that have tons of food with it. It’s a tasty choice.
