Went there to play pool and have dinner pizza. I never drink beer and the bartender was helpful and fun about my beer ignorance. We let the pizza cool while we played a round of pool. It was PERFECT.

I got a large cheese pizza, which was delicious, cooked perfectly with a nice crunch but not burnt and not super greasy. I forgot to take a picture of it, but it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had. I also got this veal Parmesan which is incredible too. They make all this stuff fresh in their kitchen. They give you a ton of veal, cooked perfectly and I got ziti with it. This is one of the best meals I’ve had and the staff here are awesome people. I definitely recommend stopping by here if you get the chance.

We stayed in Waltham while we visited for funeral. After a hard day saying goodbye to someone we loved, I think we were all craving the kind of New England style pizza we ate back when we lived in Connecticut.
Franco’s was everything we could have hoped for. A friendly, no-bs atmosphere and a pretty much perfect cheese and tomato pie.
I don’t know when or if I’ll be in Waltham again, but if I am, I’ll be making a trip back to Franco’s.

The food is great. Have ordered from here several times. Never will again. Pizza didn’t show up for 45 min past the time it was supposed to have been delivered. No notification that it even went out for delivery. We called to check on it and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude. Refused to look the order up by order number or even name on the order and told me both pieces of info were “useless” to him. When we finally figured that out he told me, “It went out of here 20 mins ago and should be there soon. That’s all I can tell you.” We finally found the pizza just left on our doorstep, cold, because nobody could be bothered to so much as ring the doorbell. Sorry I ordered, sorry I called to check, sorry I bothered to leave a useless delivery driver a 20% tip.

We stoped in after going to Shoppers with another couple last Friday night. We sat at a table and were greeted right away. Started with drinks. They were great. Played a little Keno.The staff here were working very hard. Great service!
Then the Karaoke started up. The place lit up. We had a ton of fun with the Karaoke.
Then we got hungry and tried the pizza. Let me tell you, it was incredible!!! All the pizza reviews are on point.

One of the absolute best bars in the Boston area. The staff is incredibly charismatic and friendly, the energy is always inviting and fun, and the food is very very good, plus they have trivia and games! To top it all off, the pizza here is one of my favorites in the region.
