When you walk in the store you go to the counter and order your food out of the “warmer”, it’s already cooked. I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. While the overall flavor of the food is fine it was all barely lukewarm, which I find quite unappetizing. The price is reasonable at $8 but if my meal this evening is typical of how food is served here I won’t be back. I would have to say that the fact that all of the tables are unoccupied is significant.

Hy-Vee market place grill in plattsmouth has the best food around! It’s cooked to order and is always fresh and hot! It is also fairly priced and leaves you feeling full for the price. My fiancée and I always come here on date night because of the food and the atmosphere. I only gave it four stars because sometimes the servers forget we are there or forget to give us our food.
