It’s my second time here and I drove almost an hour because the food is amazing! We ordered so much I don’t feel like typing but will post a picture. The best thing is the spicy fish, and choy sum. The service is great too. It’s a cozy restaurant with great food!

We saw the good reviews on this place and decided to give it try. We ordered the dry fish pot and the lamb with cilantro. The fish pot was flavorful and good. The ingredients were mostly all deep fried then quick mixed with spices. The lamb was stirred fried, the flavor was good but the meat itself was tough and very chewy. We might eat at this place again if we happen to be in the area.

Very good szechuan food! One of the best restaurants I tried during my Duluth trip.
Highly recommend:
Shrimp noodle
Dry fried spicy chicken (bone in)
Also tried spicy fried eggplant and hot and sour soup but they were just okay. I wouldn’t get them again.
Server was attentive and friendly.

I came here soooo many times when I was living in Atlanta. I practically had the entire menu memorized. The owners serve truly authentic Northern Chinese cuisine, beijing style kung pao chicken, dry pot, double cooked pork, almost every dish worths a try. The seasonal specials, like Shizi Tou, are strongly recommended as well. Definitely my favorite restaurant in ATL!

It was a rainy day and my companions were in a mood for dumplings. When we arrived around 5 PM there was not many people. We were greeted and asked how many people. The restaurant is nicely decorated and neat. They make their dumplings every Sunday, I believe, and I actually got their last dumplings. The food portion could have been slightly more generous for the price, still it was well seasoned and not too spicy in my opinion.
The waiter was attentive and came by to ask how the food was and if we needed anything.
The restroom is near the back.
There is a $0.99 processing fee for credit/debit cards.
Closed on Mondays

Tried this place for the first time. I tried the Mapo tofu , salted pepper shrimp and the fish fillet spicy pot. The food as delicious. It came out hot and fast. Highly recommend the fish, it was fried perfectly and the garnish paired really well with it. The menu showed a fantastic lunch special so I will have to come back and try them out

There are an array of eclectic dishes on the menu. This was my first experience having lamb at a Chinese restaurant. It was delicious. The rice was my least favorite item. My son is a big rice fan. We thought the flavor was mediocre at best. I’m used to fried rice including onions, eggs and veggies. Here it was just plain slightly flavored rice. The other entrees were well prepared and flavorful (hunan chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce).

Stepping into Xin’s Chinese restaurant for the first time, I discovered it specializes in Szechuan-style Chinese cuisine originating from Northern China—known for its spiciness and bold flavors, a perfect match for the Korean taste palate. The restaurant, although small, is well-organized. While perusing the menu, we noticed a price increase. Instead of reproducing the menu with the updated prices, the owner opted for a simple cross-out of the old prices, adding the new ones by hand. Psychologically, this strategy may not be appealing to customers and could be perceived as a shortsighted approach. I would describe it as “Penny wise, but Pound foolish.” The food’s quality was generally good, showcasing uniqueness in some aspects but falling short of being outstanding.

This meal was wildly underwhelming. I ordered the lunch pork lo mein. To me, this doesn’t look like pork, it looks and tastes like chicken. Additionally, it was oily and lacked flavor, as did the rice that I didn’t know I was getting. I had to doctor this up quite a bit, but for the price I guess you get what you get.
Edit – the egg drop soup tasted like just oil. Don’t recommend this place at all.
