The food was out of this world! I ordered a steak, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Paired it with their creamy mashed potatoes, which were buttery smooth and seasoned just right. Everything came out hot and fresh, with generous portions that left us satisfied but not overstuffed. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.
If you’re in the area and craving a great steakhouse experience, this place is a must-visit. 5 stars all the way—can’t wait to come back!
When we were seated, we never received rolls. Two of the four salads arrived. The third salad came out after the entrees, and the fourth never came at all.
I ordered the Texas filet cooked medium. When it arrived, it was clearly rare. I took one bite and set it down. When the server checked back, I politely asked, “Not trying to be a pain, but does this look medium to you?” He agreed it did not and took it back to be cooked more. What surprised me was that the same filet was returned to me, including the small piece I had already cut into. When it came back out, it was extremely charred and blackened. I took one bite and all I could taste was burnt meat.
That experience left me questioning the food handling process. If my steak was simply put back on the same grill to be cooked longer, it makes me wonder how often that happens with other meals. When you’re paying for a fresh entrée, you expect it to be remade properly, not reworked and overcooked.
When I expressed my disappointment, the server offered to take $10 off the bill. I wasn’t looking for a discount. I simply wanted a properly cooked filet from a place that has consistently been one of my favorites.
This visit left us with mediocre service and a steak I couldn’t finish. Sadly, after this experience, I’m not sure I’ll be returning to Texas Roadhouse anytime soon.
Our server was very nice & checked one us maybe 2-3 times while we were eating which was nice. Very helpful & patient while we decided what we wanted to eat
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – ordered a Combo Appetizer and Full Slab Ribs. The complimentary sweet honey butter breads were astonishingly good! Since it’s sweet already, there’s no need for the cinnamon butter provided. Our server decided what items to get for us in the combo appetizer and we got the boneless buffalo wings, fried pickles, and tater skins. The wings were surprisingly tender and well spiced. The SO loved the fried pickles and the tater skins were on the saltier side but exactly what one could expect from baked potato skins. The ribs were amazing as well since they were fall off-the-bone tender with just the right touch of BBQ sauce. The cup of chili and sweet potato sides were wonderful as well.
Service: 5/5 – Maddin was extremely friendly and made perfect recommendations for us. She followed up multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed including all the bread we wanted! The service was extremely quick but we didn’t feel rushed. I think from the moment of seating to paying for our check was less than 40 minutes total.
Ambiance: 5/5 – large restaurant with plenty of seating but the place was packed within the first 30 minutes of opening. The overall atmosphere is warm and rustic even with the number of servers running food and taking orders all around.
Value for price: 5/5 – delicious food, generous portions, super quick service, and friendly atmosphere. Would probably avoid the weekends next time but we are definite fans of Texas Roadhouse!
She explained that it would take about 20 minutes for our food, which we understood. We enjoyed our salad and when our steak & potato arrived, I had to send mine back it was extremely rare ( raw) and I had ordered medium.Kaylee was happy to take it back to the kitchen, about 10 minutes later it finally came out, by then my husband had finished his meal which he shared with me. Britley asked me too cut the steak and make sure it was done, I said it was okI proceeded to tell her that I won’t be eating it at this point, it was too late
I guess I’ll take it home. After she left, I should have told her to take it back, she never apologized and she was rather rude, she was to busy to deal with us.
. When Kaylee came back I asked her to give it to Britney and do what she wants with it. It was a small peice, burnt on the top and well done in the middle
We have been to your restaurant many times and the food is consistently good.
