My question is: what are they doing to get these excessive customer disputes? They’re going around warning everyone else, Uber drivers, walk-in customers, food order customers — but not themselves, nothing is done about the cashiers or management. It seems like either female cashiers are flirting with male management to get away with things, or female management is allowing staff to have freedom.

This is my go to spot for the best Jamaican food in Atlanta! I’ve been a customer for 6 or 7 years now. When I moved over an hour away I still would come and get their oxtails which are delicious. My kids love their stewed chicken & I’ve also tried their curry goat, curry chicken, & Ackee & Saltfish which is so good too. We always get an extra serving of cabbage because it’s just that good. Oh & the key lime cake! The food is always fresh & never lacking flavor. My only critique is I wish they’d return to their original set up. The business hours aren’t convenient bc we can never order early (they open at 4p right when traffic starts getting heavy in that area). I keep trying to get my parents to try them but we end up going with another restaurant bc no one wants to hold out until 4pm lol.. At least consider opening earlier on weekends pleasee! And there are no longer any portion options. Now there’s only one size, it used to be regular or large. And of course the prices have gone up so much obviously due to inflation. They also no longer offer beef patties which was my daughter’s favorite & really only thing she would eat. Now you have to I guess request catering in order to get patties in bulk? Also I’ve order uber eats once & didn’t have the best experience with how they packaged the food, I got lots of meatless bones with my oxtails & the smallest amount of gravy but mysteriously when I order in person I get better service lol.. so maybe order in person, it’s worth the drive! Other than that, delicious food, nice staff, groovy atmosphere, & clean.

I can’t believe that my order came without my red pepper hot sauce, which is a condiment so I called them and they told me that I didn’t pay for it. Rice is dry with a jerk chicken plate. Maybe they don’t deserve one star maybe I could give them three stars But I think it’s crazy that they charge for a condiment which is just hot sauce

We were nearby at the gas station and followed the aroma of smoked meat. Curious, we stop & ordered pasta, veggies, chicken, beef & lamb. It’s a too go or carry out mostly, expect a line. With the cost of food inflation, you’d think there would be some cut corner. Not at this place, the labor & love that was put into the food was NOT compromised. The cost is justified. My stomach & nose is very sensitive. I’m happy because the food making was clean (we ordered oxtail & lamb) with no tummy issues.

Health rating was good. A score. First time there. Staff was polite. I had curry goat. It was not bad at all. If I am in the area and want to try them again I might. I was most disappointed with the size. The photo is what I was told is the only size offered. This is usually a small at other restaurants. So $17 made me step back. My fault for not asking first. 3 stars only because of portion size and the goat lacked the spicy curry flavor I enjoy. Food did NOT lack flavor.

Edit 9/4/2024: LOL! Your response is not surprising in the least bit. Your reviews definitely align with your business etiquette, extremely unprofessional and bitter. Carry on ♀️
9/3/2024 I placed three orders on Uber Eats (UE) before leaving a review. Ordered the Jerk Chicken once and Brown Stew chicken twice . Each time it came with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantain. They were supposed to be large dishes, but I guess because they have a BOGO special on UE, they reduced the portions this time which isn’t ethical. See the photo which is supposed to be quarter chicken. The split the thigh between the 2 plates ♀️. I added a small fork for scale.
First order was a 5, second order was a 3, and this time a 1 based on their actions, so I gave them an average of 3 stars. The chicken is good, the rice is door, the cabbage is meh, the plantain need to be fried a little longer, and they need to add more gravy. They’ll gladly charge you for a side rather than providing adequate gravy on the plate. *Customer service and business etiquette are a 0*.
They’re too inconsistent for me so I won’t be ordering again. ✌

Tried this place out for the first time. Had the ox tail, jerk chicken, & Rasta pasta. Ox tail came with 3 very small pieces of tail and lots of sauce. For the price $23.95+ tax, I would have expected a better portion of ox tail. The flavor was exquisite…very delicious but again the portion of tail itself was disappointing.
The Jerk Chicken was way to spicy for me (and I typically eat spicy food) so be careful about asking for jerk sauce over the rice and chicken. Next time I would do the chicken but with no jerk sauce or flavor. The flavor of the chicken itself (once you rinse away the spicy jerk sauce) was very good and tender.
Was not a fan of the Rasta Pasta. As you can see by the picture it was very plain and oily. Will possibly give another try on the ox tail again, hopefully portion of ox tail is better second time around.

I don’t know if the chef there has changed but the oxtails were overly sweet and salty at the same time. And the fish was overly sweet as well with out spice. I called the manager and she did nothing. The food is just plain gross! Don’t go there! A waste of $49 !

I saw this restaurant on my Google search for Jamaican restaurants in my area and decided to try it out. First let me say, the curry goat I ordered taste really good and sides were great as well.
My only draw back with this restaurant is that they are entirely too expensive for the food I would normally purchase at other Jamaican restaurants at a much reasonable price. If they can adjust the pricing or the portions they serve for the price, a lot of people will appreciate them more.
The customer service seems to be good and great location.
