Been eating Mex food 40+ years, BEST SALSAS I’ve had in my entire life!!! The habanero is the best, 2 insane red sauces and a great green sauce.
Family atmosphere, and the employees are truly good people.
I was gone from Diego almost 20 years (big mistake!), moved back and said I’d try every shop in the county looking for the best salsa, because all I eat it taquitos, so it’s all about the salsa. J+J’s was my 3rd shop, I’ve been to no others since, this IS the joint!!!

Best place in the area! Hands down. Food is great, the people are awesome and the service is fantastic. Appreciation at the highest level. I always feel like I am a friend that has come to visit. I always get the Chile Colorado which is the best I have had on the coast. Get the pico de gallo, you will thank me. You guys are the best!!

I ordered five mini tacos with guacamole and they did not give me guacamole. I do not recommend. And a lot of people are saying that’s the worst taco shop to go to don’t ever go there they will mess up your order and just tell you sorry and not replace it so check your order if you’re gonna go there because obviously they can’t

Ordered the bacon supreme breakfast Burrito and it’s pretty tasty. Based what I bought, it wasn’t drenched in grease with every bite, burrito had all-around good flavor to it.
Hot Sauces-
Red Salsa was good and spicy wished I’ve gotten more of it.
Green Salsa was good.
Habanero Sauce wasn’t the best but the red/green made up for it

Came in for some mini tacos and as usual, delicious. There was a slight wait for my order, but the quality of my plate was worth it. Red sauce was my favorite though I usually get the green sauce. I would definitely return to try more items on their menu. Muchas Gracias.

Excellent food! Some of the best carnitas I’ve ever had. Their salsa bar included guacamole style, verde, Chipotle and traditional red – all very tasty. Delicious Agua de jamaica to wash it all down.
