My husband and I Went on a Friday night around 8, so we weren’t expecting anything great or even fresh food. Our waitress was very sweet (didn’t get her name) but she recommended the Shiner holiday beer which was delicious! I ordered Pagona fish and chips and chose a side salad as a side. I mean it when I say this, it was the BEST fish and chips I’ve ever eaten and I’ve been to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Warf -My husband got mahi mahi fish tacos and those were delicious as well. We sat outside on the dock, it was mostly empty. It was such a relaxing atmosphere. It’s our first time here in Rockport and I wish I could go back everyday to enjoy this food again.

The food here is top notch and worth every penny. The atmosphere is just fantastic! A nice and airy feel. Beautiful building with a stunning view of the water. Our waitress, Leslie, was very attentive and I was never without a beverage to go with my delicious food. I will definitely be back! Best place ever! If you are on the area it is worth stopping in.

Mariela, our server was great! She was so polite and handled our party of 10 amazingly! Especially since we all had separate checks also.
She is super nice! And took great care of all of us and made sure we had what we needed! Kudos to her! Hope she gets a raise lol!
We absolutely love the food too! And she didnt mind all of us sharing an ultimate brownie sundae! She brought plenty of spoons and served with a smile! We were all stuffed but needed to indulge!

Update, but still a 5 star rating, went to another dinner, it was a dinner held for a Christmas dinner provided by our employer and our family came with us. It was pleasant, as always but the two waitresses seemed overwhelmed. I guess this was because of the holiday. Food came out cold, orders were incorrect, shrimp that was supposed to be grilled was blackened, appetizers didnt come, they ended up coming with the meal after inquiring about them, Mac and cheese was stone cold. First time we have been disappointed. And lastly I brought home my shrimp Alfredo and warmed it up the next day and it was spoiled.

Everything we got from the appetizers (calamari and oysters) to the main dish were good. Fish=good, pasta=good, automatic burger= big and juicy, chicken burger= huge and packed with flavor. In-door and out-door dining. My only complaint is that they took over 45 minutes to bring out our food.

It’s been a few years since I was here last. I thought I remembered it being better. We were going to get the crab cake appetizer until we going out it is ONLY 1. So we went for the dip and it was not appetizing at all and was really dry. The fried shrimp had a strange batter to it and was not tasty. The crab legs were over cooked and my girls had to dig the meat out instead of just sliding out like they normally do. Maybe they have other menu items that are better.

Friday night wait time here (about 6:30 pm) was an hour and a half so we decided to return on Saturday to try again. Got there about 5. We were 10th in line (party of 3), but we only waited about 10 mins to be seated. Our waitress Jeanne was absolutely wonderful! Pleasant and attentive, she gave us an estimate on the cook time for our meal but the food came much quicker and piping hot! Appetizers: shrimp wraps and calamari, were excellent. My daughter and I both got platters (one grilled one fried) and we were completely stuffed! Crab cake was delicious as were the mashed potatoes. First time having soft shell crab and it was fantastic. My advice would be to call ahead to get on the wait list or get there early. I think they under promise and over deliver on wait times which is a pleasant surpise. We would definitely be back!

Had a really good time here. The food was great and the service top notch. Despite visiting on a weekend, we were able to get a table as soon as we walked in and with a view as well. Definitely visiting again in the future.

This restaurant not only knows how to prepare fish expertly but the servers are friendly and spectacular. They were extremely busy but greeted us and kept reassuring us we will be taken care of. Two minutes later we were seated and greeted by our waitress. She was knowledgeable and friendly. My husband had the fish and chips which was well prepared and delicious. I had the special – Snapper sautéed with butter shrimp and crab sauce – excellently prepared. The Texas Monthly did exaggerated on this restaurant.

Such a fun place to come and eat. We had a party of 21 and we were seated comfortably and together. This place is near the water so you can enjoy the outside view or eat inside where it’s almost all windows to see. Staff are prompt and helpful. Food was delicious! They had a guy come play the guitar and sing. Great place to bring the family!

The crab tower was delicious, although I wanted the pico de gallo to be more fresh (tomatoes were dry and slightly wilted).
The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and freshly prepared.

3 Stars: Average (nothing special)
