This Cracker Barrel in Missoula is a great restaurant. The staff is always so friendly and ready to work. The food is pretty standard but still good. I’m glad they are not changing. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. For some reason, maybe it’s just me, the store part seems smaller than others I’ve been in. Great place to stop.

It had been a while since we had visit good old CB and I forgot how much I actually love it! The Trout is every bit as delicious as I remember and we all enjoyed our entire meals. Plus! I got to pop over and browse the retail section which I love.

Food was just OK as the hashbrown casserole was al dente as in the potatoes were crunchy not how I like potatoes. Flavor was good but I expected the onions to be crunchy but not the potatoes. Eggs,bacon and sausage were average. They clearly were understaffed as I tried to wave down someone and two people just eyeballs me and walked away. The person sitting next to me didn’t get the gravy with her meal and was trying to get someone’s attention so I tried to help her get their attention. The table behind her the mom was busy berating her child and being well, mean. We ate and left asap after we finally got the bill. I was excited to bring my bf to a Cracker Barrel for the first time and after we left I had to apologize for the experience.

This place is amazing! Super clean, fresh food, generous portions paired with amazing service. Our server, Courtney V, was great with the kids and super helpful with suggestions. She was always on top of all our needs. We were very impressed!

Overall it was very nostalgic to walk into this Cracker Barreland seeing the fun trinkets to cool kitchen gadgets and sweets that take you back to a better days. The food was decent. I got the biscuits and gravy. Biscuit were good as well as the bacon cooked to perfection. The gravy was lacking and felt like it came from a can. It didn’t carry the comfort feeling/taste of good ‘ol country sausage gravy to poor over the warm biscuits. I ended up adding butter to one with the gravy. It was only slightly better. The Merry Berry tea was very good although a touch too sweet for my liking, but I enjoyed enough to get some for the ride home. lol

Ate there last night. Loved our waitress, she was amazing. Nice environment, clean establishment. We ordered the fried pickles to start. OMG does not begin to describe how good these were. I could have ate that all night. My husband ordered the bacon chicken. It was really good. I had the berry cheesecake french toast. It was not what I expected. I was thinking the traditional plating of french toast. They had it done up like a hill, it looked really cool. It was okay ish. Most of the French toast (and I mean all but like four bites) was hard. It was actually the texture of a crouton. I was a bit bummed though. I recently had the rest of my teeth pulled (waiting on dentures) so I was expecting something soft to eat, and this was not it. My mom got the same thing as me, and hers was crunchy too. The part that was soft, was omg delicious, just wish it was all that way. The peach iced tea was amazing though. Highly recommend the fried pickles and peach tea.
The store had a really cool wall of all different types of pop too. A lot of them I had never heard of before. Would be fun to try some of them.
