Do not be tricked by the advertising specials! Decided to try the pizza on ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free Thursday’. Attempted to call many times without an answer and placed our order online. Upon picking up I asked about the pricing and was informed that online orders DO NOT QUALIFY and must be placed in person. As this is not mentioned anywhere, we felt tricked. I told the manager to please cancel and refund my order. He informed me that it is not possible as it was an online order. He showed no empathy or concern about situation and went back to making pizzas.
We did take our pizzas, as we paid over $50 for 2 pizzas!! The pizzas were delicious. The dough is made in house and hand tossed. It was a nice thin crust with lots of flavor.

Interesting place with an awkward name. We stumbled upon this joint on our way to Valley of Fire. Reviews were decent and choices were few. I had no idea who Chriss Angel was but gave it a google and he has an impressive career-who knew LOL. The breakfast burrito special was good. Hashbrowns are not shredded as pictured on the menu, deep fried cubed potatoes that arrived on my plate pooled in grease. My husband got the country fried steak special-he enjoyed it very much. We walked out under $35 including tax and tip. Had water to drink. The atmosphere is so/so. Very clean which I love and quirky which I love but blah overall. Solid 3.5 stars from me-some good, some bad but over all better than being hungry!

This place is awesome! We were traveling through after visiting Valley of Fire state park, and I’m glad we stopped. The burgers are huge & cooked just right. The fries are amazing too! Staff were friendly and food was fast.

Stopped on our way to Zion national park. Little out of way, but worth it. Got the zinger chicken hoagie. Best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Chicken was perfect . My wife got a wrap and loved it. We had to stop on way back to airport. Was just as good. I got a burger this time. Would recommend chicken sandwich.

A friend and I rode up to Overton on our motorcycles and decided to try CALBP as it is fairly new and we had never eaten there. The menu wasn’t huge but it was varied!! My friend ordered a salad and I ordered a mushroom burger, I believe it was called the funguy and an order of fries. I ordered the burger medium rare. It was a 1/2 pound burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten!! Plump, juicy and a terrific grill flavor!! The fries were unique, sliced thin and perfectly seasoned, they were crispy but still were more like fries than chips!! My friends salad was huge and he couldn’t finish it!! The service was outstanding, drinks were quickly refilled and the server kept checking on us!! And the proverbial icing on the cake was when I got the check I found out burgers are 1/2 price on Friday!! If you find yourself hungry in Overton try this place, you will be pleasantly surprised!!

Ate here after stopping at St Thomas Ruins and Lost City Museum on our way to Cathedral Gorge State Park. Cute place, friendly staff, whimsical menu – playing off Criss Angel’s show in Vegas – and decent food. We got the margarita pizza which needed some help from ranch dressing and red pepper flakes but was good overall. Don’t bother with the chicken poppers – they’re pretty bland w/o sauce (on the positive side though they are whole white meat nuggets). Got a chicken wrap and hogie sandwich with avacado and roasted red peppers to-go for our post-hiking picnic later. We were really glad we did as food options in Pinoche, Panaca and caliente are woeful.

We happened to be staying right near this place and had to try it.
When we got there it wasn’t busy but there was only one waitress helping on the floor and she was overwhelmed and took a long time to come check on us and take our order.
We decided to order a margarita pizza and added chicken. The crust of the pizza was good but the way the decided sauce the pizza they did it in blobs and it made the pizza soggy. I also wished the had chopped or sliced the basil before putting it on the pizza. overall it was an okay pizza. I would probably try something different next time.

A Kitschy rural restaurant with a crazy name serving comfort food is just what I and my vegan wife were looking for. They made a great vegan pizza (photo below) and made sure we got just what we wanted. I was particularly impressed with the flat fries, which were perfectly crispy as ordered, and very tasty. Many small restaurants are plagued with rancid or fishy tasting oil in the fryers, but not here.
They also had a small but nice selection of beers to go with our burger, fries, and pizza

Ok, just be warned that the prices are a little high here. But, you also need to keep in mind that this restaurant isn’t in downtown Vegas either. And, supposedly this is Chris Angel’s restaurant but I didn’t see him myself
Staff here are super friendly for sure. But the best part is that the food is great. Chicken sandwich, cheese sticks and pizza were all yummy! They have a few other things I’d like to try if I’m ever in town again. Stop in and grab some food. 🙂

Update 9/23: Went back for lunch, place was busy but not overcrowded. Clean tables and attentive staff. Food and service were top-notch. Pizza is recommend but everything else looks great, too. Italian ice was also fantastic. Well done!
Original Review: Brand new restaurant owned by a celebrity in a small town – of course expectations are going to be high and with any new business (especially during a time of unprecedented workforce shortages and supply chain issues) there will be a few kinks, and there were. Overall it was a nice experience with good quality food though. Will be back to see how they adjust and do in the coming months.
