Went to the feed trough steakhouse again tonight. The steak kabobs were amazing! We had reservations at 7:30 , was able to get seated, orders placed and receive food will normal wait time for a steakhouse. Ashley was an amazing waitress. All staff was friendly and ready to get anything we needed. All food was hot fresh and delicious! The owners are working really hard to bring a new restaurant to our small town, if you ever have an issue please go to them, they will make it right! Let’s support local! Great Restaurant and we will definitely be back!!

I had a wonderful experience. The waitress was friendly and attentive. There wasn’t a long wait before the appetizers and drinks were brought out. The appetizers were large potions and piping hot . I had the Golden Chicken and my daughter had the cheeseburger. I was honored to receive the pecan cinnamon roll since it was my birthday. Have recommended them to my visiting family as the place to go.

Not sure what happened but our experience was horrible. First we got there as soon as they opened the atmosphere was wonderful and our waitress Kim was great. We sat and got drinks and put in for appetizers and they were brought out very promptly. This is when it went downhill. Kim came out about an hour into our experience and said our ticket was lost and asked what we would like to do so we had a choice to make. Stay and wait for our food or pay for our appetizers and go somewhere else. I’m sorry to say. We made the wrong choice. The steaks were very dry and tough and the baked potatoes were not even hot enough to melt the butter. This was our first and last time to visit this pricey establishment. I know I use pricey to describe this restaurant and $150 isn’t exactly pricey for three people but it definitely was for this. Seen a lot of five star ratings and maybe it’s just hit or miss but if you are going to charge what you do they need to all be hits.

Been there twice Steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection, as were the side dishes. Waitress was nice and attentive. Had no problem with the breakfast buffet, but it was 6 am. My advice to them would be to drop the buffet, just do short order breakfasts, they really aren’t busy enough to keep the buffet fresh for hours.

Super friendly waitresses. Very helpful and asked repeatedly if we needed anything. The food is good. If you haven’t tried the corn or asparagus sides, you are missing out! Tonight we had fried pickles and there were some friend jalapeños in with them, which were amazing! Nice and crispy, excellent with the ranch provided.

I, personally, run my own small business and I’ve heard loads of great things by Word of Mouth about this place from my clientele, so I tried the breakfast buffet this morning and it was WONDERFUL. I see the photos they post on Facebook, and it seems that their breakfast buffet options change somewhat from day to day, which is amazing and exciting!

It was worth the price, for sure, for the food alone, but the customer service was wonderful, as well. They greeted my sleepy eyed self at 6am with kindness and bright smiles. Definitely made my morning! I will return as often as I can. I enjoyed it all. I can’t wait to try their dinner, because their straightforward menu looks delicious.

This is a great change for Monticello, We need a place like this. The food is great and the staff is fabulous, Tiffany was our server and she went above and beyond to help us. She was so polite & courteous and on top over everything. Food came out in a timely manner and was hot & fresh. Definitely recommend for a nice family sit down…..

Kids meal chicken nuggets were undercooked and had to be sent back. The kids meals fries were so spicy they couldn’t eat them. Room was hot. Cook and owner was rude to other customers while we were there. First and last time going to this place. It was a Saturday night and they were almost empty so my guess this is a trend and slowly losing customers. Doing what is right for the customer is not their MO. BYE.

Food was ok needed seasoning, food was way overpriced for the little bit of food you get paid $15.99 for three little pieces of fish says on the menu whole fillets it was three little half pieces of a filet. Wanted a steak but 45 and $50 for a steak when you could get one at the outback for $29.99 yeah it’s just a little overpriced I won’t be going back. On a positive note the little waitress we had she was very friendly and bent over backwards to make us happy I tipped her generously for that.

Service was 5 star.. Our waitress was really friendly as was the manager. Food was good but not hot. $40 is a bit much for a limited all you can eat breakfast buffet. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. Has a lot of potential. Its worth a visit
