The service definitely needs some training. It took forever to get our food, and then when wanting to leave we had to wait 5 minutes to get our ticket to pay. This is ridiculous. Our waitress wrote the wrong table number on our ticket so our food was lost, when she came back and asked if we wanted a refill on drinks, we had to remind her what they were and then she still brought the wrong kind. Very dissatisfied with the service!

The buffalo ribeye medium rare was crazy good. One of the top 5 steaks I’ve had anywhere. The homemade salads on the salad bar were delicious and even the mixed vegetable side was way beyond what one typically associates with mixed vegetables.

My husband and I were camping here, decided after a long day we didn’t want to cook. So happy we made that choice. This place was exceptional! Our service was beyond wonderful, even while very busy. I had a steak and he had a burger. Both meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. The salad bar was all fresh and had a variety of options. Definitely recommend!!

So grateful for dinner here after a long day’s drive. We’d parked in the nearby campground and it was a very hot day. Didn’t want to cook! It was steak night at the Lodge, and there are bison steaks in the selection. Also bison burgers, all from the Fort Richardson State Park (NE) bison herd. Delicious! They also offered walleye which my husband ordered. Good salad bar. The veggies which came with our meals were not overcooked. So nice! Our server, Jolene, was delightful. It was a good evening. After dinner we drove through the park. Lots of cabins and lots of activities for families. We’d stay here again!

Pizza night offered (8) pizza choices on the buffet. Salad bar offering was small but fresh and good. Several different desserts.
Service was great with our waitress being very attentive.

The service is very slow, though the waiter is humorous. The poor man does everything but bus the tables. The Buffalo burgers are excellent. They are big, thick, and a half pound. The onion rings are also excellent.
