Delicious! A friend brought me here,since im still fairly new to the area. Its tiny not big, its cozy. It feels like your in a different place,which is cool. Our waiter was great,service was awesome too. We got there just before 5 o’clock. It was full,but we still go seated quickly. The ramen soup bowls are what we both had. It was super yummy! Also had potstickers, California roll..everything was good. We split the bill. Overall really good experience.

Here is a quick and short review. The only reason not 5 star is because I ordered delivery so no points on service and ambiance. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen Spicy and the Beef Gyoza. Pictures don’t do it justice because of the packaging but trust when I say superb. It’s about the broth. Silky and sublime. I will have to visit in person to see if service and atmosphere are of the same quality.

I asked for hamburg- what I didn’t know it was just a beef patty with an egg on top with supposedly mushrooms. No mushrooms! I only got a raw yolk no egg white. I was not asked how I wanted the egg nor was I told why there were no mushrooms. The owner being smart wrote on the menu that food presentation may vary but didn’t say lacking. Not planning on returning nor recommending it. Now the green tea was great! And the waitress although nice, she seemed in a rush.

Went back to Kopan Sushi & Ramen in Whittier last night, and man, it’s just as awesome as I remembered from last week! This place is legit. Ordered the Ebisu Sashimi and Samurai Roll this time, and both were straight-up fire. The sashimi was super fresh, like melt-in-your-mouth good, and the Samurai Roll had this perfect mix of flavors—crisp, savory, and just a lil’ kick. The vibe’s chill, service is on point, and you can tell they care about the food. Already stoked to come back and try more. If you’re in Whittier, this spot’s a must!

I usually tend to love Kopan, came in on a Saturday from 3:15-3:40. Hostess seemed upset to show us our seats. Had to ask another server for plates and ginger. Requested a menu to order more Sushi, hostess seemed upset, walked away and never returned to our table. 15 minutes later i requested togo boxes for ramen from a different server. Really wanted another sushi roll. Now we know if that server is there, go elsewhere. Party of 4 btw

The atmosphere and vibe are on point! It’s very cozy, perfect for a date. Weekdays are way empty, weekends get full, but early hours are easy to get a table.
Service is sometimes a hit or miss though.
Sushi roll sizes are borderline a little too expensive for the size.
Otherwise it’s a really nice spot, food is good, and service can sometimes be good too.
