Went on a Friday got there about 11:10 in the morning. Parking was empty maybe 3 or 4 cars. Right when we entered my friend and I were greeted. We ordered the special which was 2 footlong cubans for 20 bucks, we also brought 2 of the deviled crab cakes. The special came with a fountain drink and a small bag of lays chips (choose from reg, sour cream, barbeque). The wait for the food was not bad at all, the cuban sandwich was great. The pork was all good pieces of meat no chewy pieces of fat that. It also had salami, ham, mayo, pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. The deviled crab was huge and had thick breading but was filled completely with crab mixture inside. It was great. Once 11:45 rolled around the place was busy. I mean about 7 other parties all walked in to get their lunch etc. a 3rd friend joined us and he enjoyed the food he ordered.

More expensive than they use to be. I thought they were pricey before but you received a lot of meat on your sandwich & devil crab su it was fine. This trip, not as much meat as we were use to & something had changed with the devil crab, the outside crispy breading was different (it was as is if they rolled them in corn flakes) and there was way more breading inside than before. Guess it’s a form of shrink flation, more fillers less meat. Food for thought, we purchased 2 whole Cubans, 4 devil crabs & 2 stuffed potatoes for $92.74. IMO not worth it anymore.

It’s a good ole fashioned place. Its simple decor is ready to serve the needs of the guest. Wonderful Develed Crab! Stuffed so full of the crab. You won’t be disappointed! I have had their Cubans before and knew it was good too. I got a smaller size Cuban with the Deviled Crab! Yum

Went today for lunch. We ordered the special for 2. That includes 2 sandwiches, 2 chips and only 1 drink. If you want a second drink for your special for 2 that will be extra. We had to ask for our cups only to find out there was no ice. Then after waiting 30 min for 2 sandwiches we asked for a refund and left. The food my be good, but I’ll never return.

Maybe the best Cuban Sandwich and Devil Crab Cake I ever ate in my life. Absolutely a WOW! There was a 2 for 1 deal that no place in Florida could match! Again, the best I have ever ate! And the place is sooooo cool!

The establishment was clean. The employees were all very friendly, especially the guy handing you your food.
The portion sizes are great, and you get a bag of chips and a drink (can or fountain) with your meal.
I don’t eat deli meats, but I saw the vegetarian sandwich on the menu and tried it. It was not what I expected. It was basically a cheese sandwich bc there looked to be about 5 different types of cheese on this one sandwich.
The sandwich consisted of Swiss, cheddar, and provolone stacked on top of each other. Then tomato, red onions, a little lettuce, a little roasted red bell peppers, banana peppers shredded mozzarella cheese, and what looked to be feta crumbles.
I took off the cheeses except the feta and Swiss, and it was better. I was expecting something more, but I’m going to give them another chance and go back, and I’ll create my own sandwich and then update the review.
The devil crab egg roll was really really good! And I can tell you that their devil crabs are really good as well!

Been going off and on to this establishment since the 80’s was never disappointed until this past Saturday. Talked up this place to my Grandsons, huge mistake. The wait was always long but this was crazy. Over an hour but i said yall it wolill be worth it. Not it was awful the crab that i drove all the way from Clearwater to enjoy like i had many many time was so undercooked and the sandwich had one sliver of pork and it wasnt good. U spent over 90 dollars at a sandwich shop would have been ok if it wasnt the way i remembered im so disappointed and the place looked run down, dirty. Not clean at all. Im so disappointed

The devil crab was FULL of peppers and not nearly as much crab as before! The devil crab tasted like if it was left uncovered in the refrigerator. Not fresh. The lady that takes the orders in the morning is always RUDE! And dismissive. It was not a good experience like I’ve had before. Sadly this will be my last time going there.
