Cozy and cute pizzeria with delicious food! We tried the lemon pepper wings, Buffalo Chicken, and Meat Lover pizzas — and they really do taste like authentic New York pizza. We enjoyed every bite! The cleanliness and professionalism of the staff are also worth mentioning. Highly recommend!

I recently tried Sal’s Pizza, and honestly — 10/10 experience!
I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and it was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. The shrimp were lightly fried first and then mixed into the pasta, which gave it amazing flavor and texture. Every bite was perfect.
We also had the sausage pizza, and it was exactly how pizza should be. The crust had the perfect thickness — not too thick, not too thin — and the sausage wasn’t big, bulky chunks. Instead, it was sliced more like pepperoni, which made every bite balanced and flavorful.
The stuffed pizza was everything you could dream of. It was loaded but the dough wasn’t heavy or overly thick, so you could actually enjoy it without feeling weighed down afterward. I left feeling full and satisfied — not greasy or gross like after eating big chain pizza.
Best pizza by far. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving them a try!

Sal’s has always been great but I think they have worked to make it a little greater (even though I did not know that was possible).

We ordered a chicken Alfredo dish, a spicy chicken Alfredo dish, some chicken wings, chicken, Caesar salad, salad, and a meat stuffed pizza and everything was deliciously amazing!

Everything was freshly prepared. The ingredients tasted fresh. The service was wonderful and they kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

10 out of 10 recommend sales for delicious dining and a fun atmosphere in downtown Dallas!

“The pizza was really delicious, with a perfectly balanced dough and toppings. You can tell the pizza maker put great effort into it—hands down, great job. I’ll definitely come back.”

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food was fantastic! I ordered Meat lover pizza — it was packed with flavor and that true New York–style taste. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The place is clean, and the staff are super friendly. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Man. I want to like this place. Just ordered 2 pastas delivered and spent approx $50.

I had good experiences the last few times, but the Cajun Chicken pastas were super salty. They showed up overcooked and the noodles were soggy and overcooked. Not worth 50 for sure. I hope this place doesn’t start going down hill again.

A solid place for downtown Dallas and we will eat here again. Pizza was good but not my first choice. We ordered the potato bacon pizza and it was under seasoned. The crust was good and the pizza was fresh. Employees were okay. We weren’t welcomed and the gentleman taking our order barely spoke to us. The interior is nice and cozy. It was smaller than we anticipated but that isn’t a bad thing.

OMG! I just ate here after not being here for 2.5 years. I recently read a very positive review and decided to try again. It is the best pizza without a doubt that I have had since leaving NYC over 30 years ago. It turns out the new owner bought the place 2 years ago and honestly the pizza is EXCEPTIONAL! My brother ordered a Greek salad that was very fresh and generous. If you’ve never been or haven’t been in a while you must come here. Very clean, great service and I can’t wait to go back. I even ordered an extra pie to take home!

I’ve been dreading writing this review. My husband and I went for dinner on Sunday. This is our first time eating at Sal’s. It was very empty when we walked in. The decor was very nice. The staff members were very nice. It’s a very odd place as you get to pick wherever you want to sit, and you also order and pay at the counter. When you walk in there’s a quarter half wall in the way, so you kind of expect to be greeted, but no one ever came to say hello. You have to walk around the wall and ask.
The prices were kind of steep, but my husband and I were willing to give it a try.
Where we really struggled was enjoying the quality of the food made at Sal’s.
We had spent literally all morning and afternoon at church. We were starving when we arrived and were really looking forward to some good pizza.
Our order consisted of their mozzarella sticks, cheese sticks, a 14 inch NY style pizza (2 toppings), and two drinks. In total $45.
I would be shocked if the mozzarella sticks were made fresh as they were the best tasting menu item! With that being said both the cheese sticks and the pizza lacked flavor immensely, and the taste was equivalent to a saltine cracker, and very crunchy.
Luckily, the table is set with what I believe was oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Parmesan cheese was available on request.
Both of our fountain drinks tasted off, tasted very watered down.
I really wanted to enjoy this experience to support locals, but i hate to say I don’t think we will be back.
One of the staff members at the very end of our dinner, came to our table and asked if we would be willing to write a review, I was already planning on it, but I feel really let down because it wasn’t a positive experience and I can tell they’re really searching for customers.
