So glad they re-opened, we love eating here & we love that AYCE is back!!! We pretty much always get hotpot & sushi both. Good quality food, the broths are all really tasty . It’s usually pretty quiet here unlike a lot of hotpot places. Sometimes you can hear karaoke but that’s ok it can be quite entertaining

Had lunch with a friend on the second soft opening and we had Tiger as our server. Honestly seems like a really cool dude and charismatic and helped us with recommendations. Overall he was awesome and service 1000/10, give that man a raise!!
I had the Soup Dumplings along with the bento box with the Bangbang shrimp, Spicy Crabmeat roll, Claypot Rice/Sausage & Trio Sashimi Salad. Presentation also looked great!
The Fishball skewers and Bangbang shrimp were pretty good. Its a nice lunch spot!

My husband and I were there for Tuesday dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was good but not amazing. Fast service. Good environment. Worth a try. Prices are OK but after ordering, we spent about $30 to $40 a person. We loved supporting the business and we hope it goes well.
However, we probably wouldn’t return because for $40, we would prefer to drive down the street and go to KPot for more variety.
My husband said: you either have to have amazing food or amazing price. We would consider coming back if it was AYCE.

We were looking for a unique experience for a special occasion, and the OG delivered. We were treated to a traditional Chinese hot pot experience where you cook meat and veg in a pot of hot broth directly at your table. In particular we thought the smoky Szechuan flavors were spot on. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout. Great spot for a group!

This restaurant has a great ambiance; it’s very clean and tidy. The food is not only visually appealing, but more importantly, it tastes fantastic—a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
The cooking methods preserve the original flavors of the ingredients, resulting in a fresh and delicious meal.
Furthermore, there’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great place to go with the family.

The host was very sweet and accommodating, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the service ruined our experience and we ended up leaving early. Our waitress offered a water cup for our baby and then came back with soda water?? Super confused by that but was a warning of her lack of attentiveness for what was to come. We received an appetizer we didn’t order and the male server who dropped it off responded “well it was on the order”. What person orders a dish and then changes their mind the moment it arrives?? Especially when we’re hungry, literally still waiting for our meals that we actually ordered. My sushi roll was quite obviously never entered into the system as well, since we had to bring it to the waitress’ attention about the missing order. The rest of the table already had their meals and my brother finished his hotpot while I was waiting. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet tables seated after us in her section received their meals before us.
I understand mistakes happen as I’ve worked in restaurants myself, but the lack of attentiveness and urgency by the server was disappointing. Please consider on hiring higher quality servers who don’t act nonchalant. The manager was understanding about our frustration and even admitted that the server has been getting complaints by customers. She canceled the remainder of our orders, along with giving us a discount. I understand the restaurant is fairly new so maybe in the future after they settle in and hire better servers, we will come back.

Decided to check it out on Christmas Eve with my family, I remember this used to be Yiding hot pot so I was curious to try this new concept and branding. Overall, it was a great experience.
It’s no longer all you can eat, but the à la carte menu was still favorable for those of us who don’t necessarily aim to eat a ton of food at hot pot restaurants. The standard individual hot pot combo includes one broth, one noodle, one main protein, and the choice of 4 additional sides, which could include additional proteins, carbs, or vegetables. If you want more food, you’ll just pay a few dollars per side. I did that, and I still ended up paying less for myself compared to a typical AYCE hot pot menu. I had the wild mushroom broth with lamb and egg noodles, and it was very savory and delicious.
My server was also very attentive, helpful, and answered my questions great despite a slight language barrier. The decor and renovations are also very well executed and modern. If you’re someone who enjoys the growing hot pot scene in Charlotte, I highly recommend checking out the OG!

The food tasted good, too bad it took a long time to get some of it. The soup base came out quickly as well as the sushi. The things to put in the hot pot, dim sum, & cooked plates took about an hour to arrive to our table. I understand that this was a soft opening but they were very under prepared. I was under the impression that in order to have a table, you needed a reservation. If reservations were made, the restaurant had a general idea of how many people to expect at different hours of the day. A plate with frozen and cold items (they identify it as the base) took an hour to prepare. If they were anticipating a heavy crowd, they should have at least prepared the base plates of each hot pot order and stored them in the fridge to be easily and readily brought out when ordered instead of making patrons wait an hour. Most of the food they offered could have easily been cooked ahead of time and placed on a warmer to make it quicker to bring out as well. Essentially operations could and should have been smoother considering the owners are the same as Yiding Hot Pot (the old restaurant at this location). Would I revisit this place again? Likely not unless this was the only place available and/or I had three hours to wait for food.

Came in with my mom to celebrate my early birthday. The food was good but we both felt so uncomfortable here that we wouldn’t recommend it or come back. The staff were very confusing. The woman at the front desk and our waiter made the process very complicating. They didn’t do a good job explaining their own menu which shouldn’t even be that complicated. It was all you can eat + an A La Carte menu. He gave us the bill after one round of the you can eat. Mind you, there are rules. Ex. Only two appetizers each round. So we didn’t even get everything we wanted bc we were waiting for another round.
We also wanted one item from the A La Carte menu (which the lady said I can order from there also but it’s an additional price on top of the All You Can Eat) and when I asked for it, they made a big deal out of it so my mom just said nvm and didn’t want to order anything extra that’ll cause more confusion. When I told him I was confused, his response was “ well you’re confused and I’m confused so it’ll just cause confusion “ lolll what? Very very weird experience.
