A group of 10 of us went during lunchtime on a Wednesday and we got seated quickly. Service was great and quick considering we were a large group and the place was relatively busy.
I tried the breaded fish and prawns and the flavor was bland but the tartar sauce is amazing! I definitely will try their salads next time, my coworkers all got salads and they looked amazing.
Portions are big and the prices are reasonable – between $15-22.
The place is pretty eclectic and I love the black and white photos.
Definitely worth checking out!

Walked in when it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. Being alone, I was able to still sit down immediately at the bar. The second I sat down I was served by a wonderful waitstaff person. She took her time to address my needs despite being extremely busy. I was served in a timely manner for all my needs. The food was great, I had the artichoke, egg white omelette. The team here works together to bring you a pleasant dining experience. Despite being busy, it was good to see the teamwork they put in to make my experience pleasurable. I’ll be back. The menu has more I’d like to try. Plus they have some good beers on tap to enjoy. After I paid the bill and left a nice tip, I left my signature butterfly $1 bill.

A classic American fare restaurant with lots of options. Had the French dip and it was pretty good, not life-changing or anything. Also had the vegetable soup and the sweet potato fries, both were good on a cold day. Came here late on a Monday for lunch, was seated right away, lots of seating but still a good amount of people. Will be back to try more of their options. I like that they serve alcohol, that’s pretty different from similar restaurants.

I was thrilled by an extensive menu that offered something for every craving—from breakfast to dinner! I particularly loved the Denver Omelet, also known as the Western Omelet, which was absolutely delicious. The coffee was full of flavor and truly exciting. Plus, the friendly staff made the whole experience even more enjoyable!

and i kid you not, i HATE the city sacramento (it’s my hometown).
But this place completely exceeded my expectations and made me an addict to this restaurant.
My partner and I would love to eat here every night if we could.

The staff at Brookfields is very friendly and work as a team, and that is especially true of the manager Hannah. The food is varied, plentiful and tasty. I have never had to wait to be seated or rushed to finish. It is a wonderful place for the whole family.

I stop in for breakfast here every now and then, and the experience is consistently good. I’m always welcomed with a smile and seated quickly. When they can, they even ask whether I’d prefer a booth or a table. There’s also patio seating and some bar style spots, which is nice.
The servers and kitchen team are very accommodating. Any small adjustments I’ve asked for to a menu item have always been taken care of without a problem. We’re all human, and on one visit there was a minor hiccup with someone who was training, but it was fixed right away, no questions asked.
What really stands out is how consistent the food is. You know what you’re going to get every time, and it’s prepared well. Everything just works together at this location, and it makes for a pleasant way to start the morning.

My absolute favorite place to get a burger. Cooked Medium with some awesome fries and Chipotle Aioli dip. They source all their meat. Fresh and daily. Phenomenal family owned restaurant!

This is a really late entry, I got busy and hadn’t been able to write my review. I wanted to try breakfast at this restaurant. My wife wanted breakfast until I mentioned that there was liver on the menu. My wife loves liver, so she had dinner for breakfast. I can’t get passed that iron taste so I use liver for fishing catfish. I ordered the breakfast biscuits with two eggs, sausage and gravy. I asked the waitress if it came with potatoes, she said that I could add that on if I wanted to. I decided not to, it’s a good thing that I didn’t add those taters or they would have gone back to the kitchen because I was full with what I had. My wife enjoyed her dinner entry. And I enjoyed my breakfast, now since I was in a restaurant I decided not to lick my plate clean, the gravy was so delicious. Noise level wasn’t to bad, I could still talk to my wife as I explained to her why I hated liver so much. Rule of thumb at the dining room table for a 10 year old was to eat everything on my plate. Yup I sat there looking at that piece of liver wishing for it to somehow disappear. But there are so many items on the menu it took me awhile to decide what I wanted to eat. I’ll definitely return to eat here again.
