Mona Lounge opened its doors on January 2013 is an establishment that caters to patrons who enjoys a great smoking atmosphere with Music, Tvs, and comfortable chairs, full bar and delicious food. Mona Lounge has a walk in Humidor along with 4 stand alone humidors with over 400 brands of cigars. We have the retail prices on our cigars. Serves food and beverage and is open between 12pm until 1am 7 days a week. The goal of Mona is to create an environment that caters to Groups, friends and family who enjoy smoking a cigar in a lounge atmosphere. Mona lounge has 6 ideally located Tvs for all patrons to watch their favorite music, sport, news and financial channels. Outdoor Patio, Live Entertainment, Jazz, DJ, Happy Hour and special nights..

I recently visited Mona’s, and I was impressed by the exceptional service provided by my bartender Bianca. From the moment I took a seat at the bar, she greeted me with a smile and was very welcoming. Being a bartender myself, I can be very picky about my old fashions, however even though the bar was quite busy. She made every single one perfectly.
Overall, her service was top tier and made my visit truly enjoyable. I definitely recommend stopping by asking for Bianca. You won’t be disappointed!

There’s a bartender there named Bee, she’s very professional, attentive, and makes every guest feel welcome while crafting excellent drinks. We stopped in Glen Allen, Virginia just to experience Mona Lounge and ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!! Leslie and Mia were FANTASTIC and we had such a great evening. Leslie’s service and recommendations were top notch and made our visit memorable. From high-end cigars to personally made cocktails, Mona did not disappoint. We enjoyed our evening filled with excellent food and drinks, while enjoying our passion for cigars. Can’t say enough about the cool vibe and atmosphere at Mona. Highly recommended!

First and last time patronizing this establishment. We were visiting friends from out of town and wanted to check out a local cigar bar…this was far from it. The cigar selections were limited to only Drew Estate, Tabaka, Fat bottoms, etc..no premium selections available, only sweet cigars. The lady who was the cigar attendant doubled as a hostess, so what should have been a 5 minute transaction literally turned into a 45 minute evolution. We stood in line and watched her let the same ladies in front of us who were purchasing boxes of cigars. Every time a transaction was conducted, she had to leave the station to tend to another job. I hopped out of line, back and forth, yet the struggle to even purchase anything was crazy!
Second, it took 45 minutes to receive 2 drinks and that was only waiting roughly 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. I asked a worker to send us someone someone so we could order and that fell on def ears. We were finally tended to, asked the waitress who also doubled as the bartender how long it would take and she told us a bit due to the crowd, but 45 minutes..for 2 drinks? The drinks were also made improperly…the bourbon tasted water down. We decided to cut our night short with friends.
The place also doubles as a hookah lounge, so be forewarned. All tables smoking hookah were tended too regularly.
The positive….the live DJ was on point which helped in staying longer than we should have.

Without a doubt, Bianca is the best bartender I have had in a while. I frequent Mona’s specifically for her. From the moment you sit down, she treats you like a regular even if it’s your first visit. She remembers preferences, keeps the vibe fun, and somehow manages to still be fast and personable even when it’s busy. This place wouldn’t be the same without her.

This restaurant has the laziest workers ever! Also they need to update the hours of operation on google. It states you close at 1am, the bartenders are saying midnight. At 11:10 I asked for a hookah and was denied. A women bartender stated that the kitchen is closing at 11:30 and I have no clue what that has to do with making a hookah in 10 mins until supposedly closing. Let me tell you I’ve been coming to Mona’s since 2015 or so…. Just about as long as Aloft has been around. The service literally has been on a decline for soooooo long. They’re really lucky the night life in Richmond is dead and the old heads and everyone that stay in the hotels around need somewhere to go. At 11:26 we ask for a drink that included Marker’s Mark and the black woman bartender rolled her eyes. I would give this a place 0 stars if I could.
