The food and hospitality were truly amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. We tried their famous Dal Bati, Sev Lasan, and Kathiyawadi Dhokli — each dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
Everything tasted fresh and authentic, just the way traditional food should. It’s one of those places that leaves a lasting impression, and I’d definitely love to visit again.

The restaurant had nice Gujarati vibes, delicious food, and friendly staff. We tried the Gujarati Thali and Daal Baati. I definitely these items from the menu..

I recently tried their unlimited thali, and while the service was prompt, the food fell short in terms of flavor. The curries and kichidi were piping hot, but lacked a depth of taste. On the plus side, the rotis – both wheat and bajra – were freshly made. Unfortunately, the ambiance left much to be desired, with the floor visibly dirty. Overall, it was an average experience.

Had an incredible experience trying both the Kathiyawadi and Punjabi thalis. The Kathiyawadi spread was wonderfully rustic and spicy—the Bajra Rotlo and cheeze lili dungli were authentic perfection. On the other hand, the Punjabi thali was pure indulgence with its rich, paneer Angara was so good with chapati.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The service was excellent—very attentive, friendly, and quick. If you want a meal that hits all the right spots, this is the place to be!

No-frills, bustling dhaba-style energy with clean, family-friendly seating – think lively chatter and quick service. It’s pure vegetarian, unlimited, and unapologetically fiery – exactly what Kathiyawadi food should be.
We had unlimited thali and this is Kathiyawadi at its honest, hearty best: bold garlic, generous ghee, serious spice, and zero pretension. Not refined fine-dining – this is soul food that warms you from the inside and leaves you happily full for hours. If you’re anywhere in 30 mile from this restaurant and craving for good Kathiyawadi food then this the place to visit.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. The food was below average and definitely not authentic Kathiyawadi. The taste was bland and nothing like real Kathiyawadi flavors.
The service was even worse — if I could give negative stars for service, I would. We ordered the unlimited dish, but no one came back to serve us. Every single time we needed something, we had to call the staff. Even after calling them, it took 3–4 reminders before they brought the food.
Overall, very poor experience. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Kathiyawadi food or decent service. And heater wasn’t working so it was cold if you planing to go there with kids.

Absolutely loved my experience at Kathiyawadi by Spice Grill (Spice Grill Kathiyawadi) in Parsippany! If you’re craving authentic Gujarati Kathiyawadi flavors, this is the spot. The unlimited Kathiyawadi thali was a highlight – every item was bursting with homemade taste, from the perfectly spiced curries and fresh rotla to the delicious sabzis and dals. It felt like a true taste of Gujarat right here in New Jersey!
The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, the ambiance cozy and welcoming, and everything was spotless. Portions are generous, and the food is made with such care and authenticity. Highly recommend for anyone looking for real Kathiyawadi cuisine – I’ll definitely be back soon! A hidden gem in Parsippany!
