We went for an early dinner and had a great meal. The service was attentive and bilingual. The servings were well priced and everything came out fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. They offered us chips and salsa when we dined in. It’s nicely decorated and very clean. I did not see a restroom available for patrons but did not ask. I came hungry and left full, satisfied and with leftovers!

Asked her to get extra sauce she just did not !! We had to ask another person.
After that none of two came to table to ask if we needed anything.There was a table with white ppl they asked them thrice if they were ok !! Just ignored us the whole time.

El Alebrije is a charming, small establishment in Wildwood, New Jersey. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, with the fajitas standing out as particularly well made. If you’re in the mood for Mexican food, this place comes highly recommended.

We had an amazing time at El Alebrije! We ordered La Torta Cubana and the Fajita burrito. They blew our minds. Also their fries are life changing and the best in town! We are so looking forward to coming back and trying the tacos. Great service and excellent tastes!

This is seriously amazing food! The most flavorful dining experience we had in Wildwood the week of our vacation there. From the chips and queso dip for starters, to the main course of the pork tacos and steak burrito, to the dessert of a fried and frosted plantain, every dish was delicious! Our meal was over the top awesomeness in every bite. The girls out front were extremely kind and super friendly. This place is rated so highly for a reason, don’t pass it up!

From Adelaide South Australia to this little Gem in Wildwood Crest New Jersey!! Just WoW! Absolutely delicious, as we sat down, they brought us some corn chips with two side dipping sauces, just to tease, we then ordered the Tostadas as our starter to share and the Mexican Bowl for the main, it was so fresh & authentic tasting, an absolute Fiesta in my mouth. The guys were super nice, friendly and to top it off (as we were so full that we couldn’t fit in any dessert) he gave us a Churros with Nutella to go (on the house).. which we of course devoured on our way back to our Hotel!! Thankyou

Wildwood finally has a real deal mexican spot. Stop what you are doing and go get some barbacoa tacos— they are not greasy or dry… they are not too salty, they are divine.
My husband got a steak burrito— when I asked him to explain it, he said it was exactly what he hoped for. Steak was cooked perfectly.
It’s a takeout spot, that is unassuming, but the flavors speak for themselves. Order at the counter with seat yourself outside or inside seating. Great service and a server even though its a seat yourself.
We will be returning year after year— support them! They need to stick around.
