I’ve been getting food here since they opened & I get take out here pretty much weekly. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food is so good & flavorful. I haven’t had one bad meal here yet. I really enjoy the samosa chaat, chicken over rice & chicken shawarma. Their mixed meats are delicious as well. This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Delaware. And as a bonus, the owners are so nice & accommodating. Definitely give this place a try.

Must visit authentic Pakistani food in Newark. We had the chicken seekh kabab, chicken tikka, tandoori naan, and chicken biryani.
Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff is super sweet & the interior dining area is so beautiful. Looking forward to many more visits there!

I recently visited VIRAA Restaurant in Delaware, and I have to say, this place truly exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is attentive, and the food… absolutely incredible.
The highlight of my visit was the Shinwari Karahi. It’s honestly one of the best karahis I’ve ever had in the US. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, and the flavor was rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced, you can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The spices were spot-on, not overpowering, just the perfect blend to give you that traditional Shinwari depth of flavor.
The karahi was served sizzling hot, with a wonderful aroma that instantly made the entire table hungry. Paired with their fresh naan, it was truly unforgettable.

We had a nice relaxing lunch and the food was super delicious. We ordered Dahi Bhalla for appetizer and it was fresh and tasty. The main courses were Chicken Biriyani and Malai Kofta which were quite generous in portion size and equally satisfying. The kofta was tender with right balance between juiciness and char. We also got the Chicken Kadahi and Mixed Grill to go for our children and they enjoyed it to the last bit. The Kadahi was perfect with a lot of pieces with the right spice level and went really well with the Tandoori Naan. Virsa provides good value for your money with the freshest ingredients and service was fast and friendly. The owner even offered us complementary Masala Chai! If you are looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine in the Newark, DE area visiting Virsa is a must.

I love this food! I found this wonderful gem online and I am so hlad that I visited. The customer service is Excellebt! I always order Chicken leg Tandoori! It is so delicious!!! The atmosphere is amazing also, very clean restaurant, a friendly environment that makes anyone feel like home. Food is cooked to order and stays nice and wa even when you order To Go! I can’t stop visiting and ordering over and over again. If you want amazing, delicious food in Delaware, you must stop by Virsa and place an order.

Been there three times. Karahi may vary in taste- may be we ordered different spices every-time we went but it’s still good. Chargha is alright. Naan were great. Probably the one of the best tastes of Pakistani food in Delaware so far.
