Such awesome employees! We were traveling from Avila back to Ventura and I injured my knee while we were in Avila. We asked for a cup of ice along with our order and when we got to the second window, we asked for a plastic bag to put the ice in for my knee. The cashier immediately went to grab some plastic gloves and was showing us how to triple them up so they didn’t leak. While she was doing that another employee appeared behind her out of nowhere and already had some plastic gloves with ice in them tied up and ready to go! I literally don’t even know where she came from or how she could have known or put that together so fast! So we ended up with two ice bags which was so helpful and so nice! The food was excellent as always! And we were literally able to drive straight up to the drive-thru with no wait!….which I have never seen at an in and out until this day! All around awesome experience! I love this place! ❤️

This place is always good, but especially tonight. Alex, who was working in the dining area, was very kind in asking if we needed anything, cleaning up after us, and asking my kids If he could get them hats, etc. he was awesome and it was obvious he enjoyed his job. Put that man in for a raise.

Went recently to get some food, drive thru was of course crowded, but when I got my order I wasn’t given a ticket number. Thought okay theres probably a system. I come to the front for my order and the young woman there forgot to charge. I tried to be a good samaritan and told the young lady that I haven’t paid for my order. Got home, turns out I was charged almost $19 for a double double with fries. I won’t be going through the drive thru anymore nor to this in n out.

This is the worst In-N-Out in California. Which is to say it’s still a better establishment to eat at than most. Like everything in Santa Maria it is woefully under prepared to handle the misdiagnosed population of the area. I have never found a time where it was easy to grab a burger here. The drive through is backed up from before they open, until late at night. Their fries are usually too hard. Their animal style lacks the mustard grilled patties, even when I specifically ask for it. They are generous with spread and chilis. I will say the food at every other In-N-Out is better. If you are unfortunate and must live and eat in this area, it is still a better option than just about anything else. It is almost worth the wait. I just wish that the parking lot made more sense. You could probably build 3 more of these in Santa Maria and they would still be overflowing. Similarly to how the 2 Chick-fil-as have not cut down on how busy the original is.

The people who work here are amazing the only reason I gave a 4 star was because the drive through took 15 minutes to get the food from the time I ordered it to the time I actually picked it up I’ve experimented with going inside and ordering through the drive-thru they just are busy no matter what.
Regarding the food I have ordered the hamburgers well done because in the past they seemed as though they might have been slightly undercooked this time it seemed they were cooked but they were not well done.
I like that it is easy to get off the freeway order food and then get back on the freeway and they also have a great seated area outdoors if you would like to eat in like a park like setting.
I ordered the double-double without any of the accompaniments and the price was $5.60 which given prices of hamburgers at other locations seems very reasonable Considering what other restaurants or fast food locations charge for what they offer.

In-N-Out never disappoints. Maybe it’s because we don’t have them in Hawaii or maybe it’s the actual flavor, but I was enjoy in and out at anytime of day.
Bring on the double double cheeseburger, animal style, and the shake. Although the fries, honestly, are pretty lacking in the flavor department. Just get a shake and dip the fries in it.

Since I live I South Carolina, it has been 4 years since I have eaten here! Boy do I miss these delicious hamburgers and fries. This location was really busy! Even on a weekday evening. Dining in can be tricky but by the time your food is ready, a table should be available. We all left happy and full!

One of the best fastfood restaurants in town. Everything is fresh and the lettuce is REAL not some scratchy lettuce you’d give to your rabbit. The only downfall is the burgers are getting smaller. Compared to everything else in Santa Maria that’s just fine with me. Great milkshakes and excellent prices!!.

Burger was a bit too dry… I need to ask for extra spread. I think it would have been good then. But after 3 bites I just had to throw it away. It looked like maybe a tablespoon of spread was on it and that just is not enough.
But the shake was very good! 🙂
