Great Irish pub. What can I say? I look forward to coming here to watch Liverpool play and have a couple pints of Guinness with the OLSC supporters. The staff are super friendly, attentive, easy to talk to & there’s an overall great vibe. I’ve met some cool people here. They frequently have live music. Local artists seem to gather and share their talents with the bar, but you also get the occasional musician from out of town. Shuggy does a great job being present and building a community. He genuinely cares about the patrons. There’s usually plenty of parking (public lot right next to the bar) but it can sometimes get a little squirrelly during Woo Sox games. You can always find a spot within a block or two though. There’s no kitchen so if you’re hungry bring food, which I frequently do. Boland’s is in a great location on Water st. so there’s a ton of food options surrounding the bar. They’ve got a decent selection of 10ish beers on tap, cocktails, wine if that’s your thing. There’s normally a couple decent seltzers in the fridge too (high noon, sun cruiser, nutrl etc.). Cool little outdoor patio for those warm summer nights. What’s not to like? Go reds! Cheers.

No food or service. Very dark. Trivia night … you can’t hear over the patrons. Very limited beer selection. No food. Unless because of someone else I won’t fight traffic, try to find paid parking and not eat at a bar. Owner is very nice though.

Incredible sound for live music. Staff is very kind and upbeat. They’re staying true to the roots of culture here and really create a welcoming environment. My friends band, Brothers Of Black Valley, played and the show was awesome. Really looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend. Thanks for the smooth Guinness pour!

Solid bar to watch Liverpool and Revs matches. Great atmosphere and crowd during matches. There’s no food so you’ll want to keep that in mind but they have a good variety of drink options. The only thing that’s odd to me is they don’t have many Irish drinks for an Irish-owned bar. Definitely worth stopping in here though, especially if you’re a local Liverpool fan!

Wonderful community hub, great drink selections, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere all the time. There’s some really good ( and inexpensive) food in the neighborhood, including directly across the road, that patrons are welcome to bring in to the bar.

Fun place! Can get pretty crowded, so be prepared to compete for a spot in the drinks line, but no complaints otherwise. Past few times they have picked great bands for live music too.

Replaced the Rock Bar, great spot, good atmosphere. Went on a Friday night, had good live music, good pints. Also a soccer bar (Liverpool), am told they do watch parties. Hope to make it out to one!
Definitely worth a stop, perfect place to hit up before a WooSox game or just hitting the town around the area.

Best Guinness since being in Ireland! Great atmosphere and owned by an Irishman from Dublin! Doesn’t serve food, but you can bring your own or order from nearby take-outs. Great traditional Irish music session too!
