Fun lively place with good music. It’s bar food so don’t come expecting gourmet offerings. The food quality was good, generous portions but on the blander side. The service was incredible given how crowded this place can get with a known live band. We loved our waitress Sabrina, who knew the menu well and had an opinion on what’s good. Hardly any wait on the gid and constant checkin by staff.

I would say don’t waste your time or money. Food was mediocre. My food looked like it should have been on a kids menu. Speaking of menus, there isn’t one for drinks and the beer selection is OK at best. My friend got the caprese sandwich which was supposed to be on ciabatta but looked and tasted like sourdough while the onions were not ripe at all. Not worth what we paid.

Although I’m a local, this was my first time at SJH. I LOVED it! Food was good, service was good and the ambiance with the indoor and outdoor seating was really nice. My friend and I (another local) came because of the live music. We loved the view of the hills as the sun went down. Wish we had visited sooner. We had been looking for a venue for our class reunion and this would’ve been perfect! We’ll be back and bring lots of friends to enjoy this hidden (in plain sight) gem!

The hamburgers are so average that a McDonald Donald’s burger seem upscale. No matter what you order the burger is gray. At $ 20 plus dollars this is thievery.

San Juan Hills golf course is a great place for golf, food, drinks, and hanging out. The service of the staff is top notch. I’m a San Juan Capistrano Rotarian and we have our weekly meetings there. The staff serves up to 80 people at once and never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed a good visit today. Met three of my buds. Macie was accommodating and patient with four knuckleheads being out together after 15 months apart. Juan Carlos and the rest were great. SJHGC has been on our circuit (thanks Jeff), and we’re due back in July. Give them a go
