This is a great place to eat.
Came in for lunch right at noon on a Friday, was starting to get real busy. Mostly a single guy carrying the show, Chauncey. He was amazing, friendly, and professional. He took care of everyone. There was another man around helping with a few drinks here and there, but mostly just Chauncey. I hope they really do get extra help next week.
I ordered the soup of the day, Gazpacho, a cold vegetable based soup with some spice-kick. I loved it. Recommend.
Ordered the Patty Melt with coleslaw, delicious, wish they gave you two thousand island dipping sides or a slightly larger single one, otherwise great overall. Cooked perfectly, great combination of ingredients, bread was soft. Coleslaw was a good middle ground slaw. Also ordered a coke, comes in a can, Chauncey provided a glass with ice, as well as a water glass for me. Kept it good the whole time. He does a lot!
Great lunch, highly recommend (get the soup!). Left a 30%+ tip, he deserved it! Good indoor seating area, they do breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. Excellent outdoor seating area as well, great place to be!

Came back a couple weeks later for breakfast, 100% worth it, Ryan was awesome. I took a bite of toast before taking a picture. Everything was perfect, good homestyle cooking.

What a gem of a restaurant! My daughter grandson and I stopped for breakfast here before going skiing at Snowy Range. The pancake was magnificent as were the omelettes and sides. What really makes it special are the owners. Friendly, caring and super knowledgeable about the area. If you have a chance….This is the best bet for breakfast in the area!!!!!

The best breakfast we have had on our trip. You do not want to miss this awesome place. Service was awesome, food was awesome and the owners are extremely nice. We had eggs, bacon sourdough bread toast, hash browns and biscuit sandwich with egg, ham, egg and cheese. We will be back…

This is a great family bar and grill. When I visited I saw many families sitting around and enjoying “The Coveralls”, a local covers band. The pizza is great. I also enjoyed a Philly Cheesesteak. I would suggest if you are in the area if Centennial and want great food and live music to stop in here. They also have several local brews on tap!

Stopped here at random after hiking in Medicine Bow forest. Nice place, good selection of bottled beer and a few beers on tap.
Ordered cheese steak and food was good. Also this place is located in a town that time forgot. I will say I thought the food here was pretty expensive but these are strange times so is what it is.

Staff. Your. Restaurant!!! This is a prime stop for people going up and down the mountain, but the kitchen and service staff are both overworked and the wait times for food are ridiculous. Two bartenders doubling as waiters handling the whole restaurant doesn’t work, nor does an understaffed kitchen. And to be clear, the people that do work here are great. Friendly, hard workers that do the best they can. And the food is solid. But the ownership does not set them up for success.

To start, read the sign on the side of the building. See pictures below. Yes, breakfast is in the front but lunch and dinner are served in the back. When you open the nondescript side door, the first thing you will see are empty kegs and a pair of chest freezers (or coolers). Enter and keep going. The next room has a pool table and the bar is around the corner to the left. Yes, that’s wacky. In a good way.
Before going in, I checked the menu on here (Google reviews). The prices have gone up since then. I was contemplating the $12 BLT but I decided on the $16 chicken “club” sandwich. I put quotes since this is not at all a club sandwich. Club sandwich = turkey and/or ham, plus bacon, lettuce, and tomato on three slices of bread, cut into quarters, and possibly toothpicks with little frilly ends. (Thank you to comedian Mitch Hedburg. Google him.)
This, however, is a chicken breast on a kaiser roll with melted cheese and two strips of bacon. Lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles adorn the plate and stand ready for use. So in reality it’s a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon. Here it’s a “club”. It was good, exactly what I expected, and worth every bit of $8.95.
The mustard-based potato salad is good, heavy on the pickles with big blocks of potato.
On my next visit, I’m thinking either the $15 or $19 hamburger. And duly noted that chips and salsa are $6.50 with extra salsa listed as $3.00. It’s not cheap here but definitely interesting. And the food is definitely good.

They had a sign in the window for help wanted. I pray that they are hiring someone who can cook hamburgers and sandwiches. We ordered a hamburger (menu says they come medium if no preference is stated) my girlfriend likes them well done and we asked for that. It was so pink that she was afraid to eat it. Took one bite and said “no way”. I would have sent it back but it took so long to get our food she wouldn’t let me. I got a cheese steak sandwich that had absolutely no flavor, very little meat and tons of undercooked onions and peppers. The mushrooms were completely raw. Could not even think about eating them. I was completely disappointed. This place had some good reviews. The only thing I can think is that it was because they had someone who knew how to cook before.

The place was clean and prices were fair considering you’re eating in the mountains and they are using such good ingredients! I would go again, especially when they have karaoke!!
