Our first time here. First and foremost the entrance to get in. Took us two different doors and “enter here “ signs that were not lit at all. We were seated. The drinks were good ( apple cider old fashioned) I had the pasta with salmon. Salmon was good. Pasta, no. My husband had the fish special. Which was amazing.

Super nice riverfront location. Great views. Food is very upscale. The host and servers were fantastic. Started outside in the evening and there were a lot of mosquitos but got moved inside due to a table opening up. Inside is all updated and has a great atmosphere. Tasty drinks. Seafood chowder was very good. All the seafood was amazing. Ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly. This is a great romantic spot. Oysters were very fresh, highly recommend. Great experience and we will be back.

Another visit, another great dining experience at this cozy riverfront restaurant.
The menu featured seasonal options, which we appreciated and ordered from. We ordered the Winter Scallops and the Grouper Rockefeller. Both dishes were top notch. Others at the table ordered the Mojo Seared Grouper and Grouper Risotto and loved them. Don’t skip the House Smoked Fish Dip, it’s the perfect starter.
There was a small hiccup on an order at our table but it was quickly corrected.

My wife and I visited The Brevardian last weekend and were blown away. Having lived in the area for a while, we were excited to see what they’ve done with this historic riverfront spot, and they’ve absolutely nailed it. The “fine-casual” vibe is perfect—elevated enough for a date night but still relaxed and welcoming.
The food was spectacular (highly recommend the seasonal seafood dishes), and the service was some of the best we’ve experienced in Melbourne—attentive without being overbearing. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the Indian River is easily one of the best views on the Space Coast. We’ll definitely be regulars!

OMG WOW! If I could give this place more stars I would and if I wasn’t married for over 25 years I would marry this chef!!! Our waitstaff Taylor was amazing! They had an accessible table right on the patio overlooking the Indian river! They started us off with homemade chips and a smoke cream cheese dip (complimentary). My husband ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell to begin. We then ordered the salmon with the most incredible Gruyère grits I have ever had with my husband ordering the filet with scallops. He love scallops and was thrilled they came with the filet as usually it is paired with shrimp. The ambiance was a cool evening with low lighting on the table and a great atmosphere of soft music in the background. Gorgeous October night to be out having an amazing dinner on the river. Great food, great location, and great service! Thank you!!!

I went looking for an old favorite seafood restaurant of mine that use to be at this location. Instead I found this place…a new favorite! The food was excellent with unique taste that made my pallet feel pleasantly surprised. They outside had been refined with a beautiful open deck with lots of room. The inside was left the same and I’m glad for it. It’s quaint eclectic look and feel as something special. Must try.

This was our first time here and WOW! What an incredible experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and exactly what we needed after a long day. Nick made us some of the best drinks we’ve ever had — I tried both Old Fashioneds and they were perfect. Our waiter had a fantastic sense of humor and gave us great recommendations. I ordered the Coffee Salmon and it was absolutely delicious! From start to finish, everything was amazing. What a true gem this place is — so glad we decided to come!

Went here with my family for christmas dinner everything was excellent all the food was extremly rich and delicious and this is the type of date night or anniversary kind of resteraunt you would enjoy with someone or even a beautiful proposal just make sure you take a light jacket or sweater as night time is really breezy cause of the water overall hand down best food i have had since hear in florida highly recomended.
Orange Caramel crumbled sufle was delicious and creamy,I ate Coffee & brown sugar crusted Salmon with kornmeal was so creamy and filling,coconut shrimp was different little spice and excellent broth was great app,Seafood risoti hands down go to was amazing as well,& last but not least the duck 2qs seared awsome krispy skin and scrumptious.

We had such a wonderful experience at The Brevardian! Nick at the bar was incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell he truly takes pride in both his craft and the restaurant. Taylor, our server, was an absolute delight—warm, attentive, and made the evening feel extra special.
It happened to be a rainy night, so instead of the terrace we cozied up inside with craft cocktails, which was just perfect. The food was so delicious that most of us forgot to even take pictures—always the sign of a great meal!
Highly recommend for anyone looking for outstanding service, flavorful dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Really a beautiful restaurant with a great view and STUNNING deserts. Lived in Melbourne for like 20 years – best dessert in the area. The orange Crème Brûlée and the pistachio pudding thing were both just crazy good. Better than anything at Chart House or Yellow Dog or Melby for instance.
My only ask is they invest in an espresso machine to complement their excellent desserts.
