Very basic no frills place to eat. Good options on the menu, but the food is super basic. No flavor and bland.
Great service. Very polite and cordial.
Parking is nearly impossible to find and get into. It’s a small alley next to the building and it’s partially blocked by a food truck.
Place has potential, but they would need to add some flavor to their basic food.

This place is nothing to look at from the outside, but it’s nice and cozy inside.
The service was friendly and good. The food was very good. The homemade spicy avocado salsa was delicious.
Worth a stop if you’re stopping to fuel up I Castaic.

Recommended by a friend, somewhat hard to find because the sign is faded away, don’t let that fool you, come inside and enjoy some great old-fashioned American breakfast! Service was very friendly, coffee refills always on time, don’t miss out on the biscuits and gravy. It’s legit.! Best in the area!

Parking behind the restaurant with some street parking. I recommend the pastrami burger as it was recommended to me. The steak fries are delicious or you can get onion rings. Bathrooms were clean and the waiter Rene is super nice and helpful. All around my new secret go to spot off Hwy 5.

Bumper-to-bumper traffic stop and SOOO glad we did! Greeted by the nicest server. Ordered the breakfast burrito (with chorizo sub) and the biscuits and gravy + over easy egg. The best or close to I’ve ever had ! + owners mothers homemade salsa and sauce.. if you’re in the area , stop here !!

Food was fantastic! I had the steak and cheese omelet, with biscuits and gravy. My husband had the club sandwich. It was great. I can’t recommend this place enough. The food and service is worth the limited parking issue. We will definitely be back.

Let me just start off by saying when it comes to breakfast I can be pretty picky. The parking is small and that is the only complaint I have. A place this absolutely amazing and friendly should be recognized. Very decently priced for the amount of food you get. The homemade biscuit is truly one of the best I have ever had. We were in town for the weekend to go to six flags and I wish I would of stopped in before the park yesterday. I had the plate that is called “The Mess” mix of sausage hash browns and eggs with gravy on the top. My daughter had the country breakfast with eggs, ham, and their homemade biscuits topped with gravy and a huge portion of hash browns !!!!
Absolutely recommended!!!!

Stopped here for breakfast and it was like a small mom and pops place. One waiter could take care of the whole floor, but the food wasn’t bad and the service was OK. They did have a food truck parked right out front of the place. Not sure if they were a part of Tommie’s, just thought that was weird, but I recommend this place for breakfast if you’re looking for a simple, good priced eats.

During a drive to SoCal we happened to stop for a meal in Castaic. We found Tommy’s quite by accident. It has a tiny driveway to the parking in the back of the building. You could miss it very easily.
Once seated we noticed that there was only one server and lots of full tables. We were resigned to the fact that things might be slow. The server was polite and apologetic. We ordered and things progressed quickly.
I had ordered a hamburger steak and eggs. Meat was well cooked but just a tad salty. Three over easy eggs and hash browns completed the meal. All in all a very delicious meal.
The wife had a tiny breakfast consisting of one egg, two bacon and English muffin. The egg was just this side of runny but otherwise a good plate of food.
We will return if we are in the area.
