I was told about this place by a friend at work. I’m from out of state and leaving the next day so I had to try it. Great Birria tacos. The chips and salsa are perfect.

The service was great. She was there for the drinks and chips. HOWEVER me and my family went into this place, only 6 of us and we all got the same thing. The chicken magnolia plate with tortillas. We were not informed that the tortillas cost almost 4 dollars when they advertise IT COMES WITH IT. And then our waitress took it upon herself to add a 20% tip to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR TABS, we had 3 different tickets and each one of them had a 20% tip already added to it. One of us paid for just himself, got a 10 dollar plate and a 10 dollar queso with a drink and shouldn’t have spent more than 25 dollars but JUST HIM, HIMSELF cost 34 dollars. This place is a scam. The food was not good. The rice was not done. The service was great however. Nowhere in this restaurant does it say “parties over this many will get charged automatic gratuity. “ do not go here or you will get scammed with your money.

My wife had Taco Salad and it was very greasy. The chef quickly prepared another which was just fine. I had the Pollo Jalisco and it was delicious! We were there around 2 pm so the waitress, Madeline had time to visit and shoot the breeze with us. Made us feel quite welcome. They only offer two desserts, Sopapillas and Chocolate Volcano Cake. We had to try both (just to give an objective review) and they were OK. The Sopapillas needed more honey though. The restaurant does offer military (and probably 1st responder) discount! We’ll go back.
