Unfortunately, my visit at this Cracker Barrel location was very disappointing. Nevertheless, from the moment we were seated I was dissatisfied. The table we were given was unclean and unsanitary (pictures below)!!! Additionally, we waited way over 30 minutes for our food (the dining room wasn’t that busy).

When we finally received our food, all my sides were undone and cold. While I understand the restaurant may have been short- staffed, maintaining a clean dining area is essential!!

I hope, if I do plan to visit again, they improve cleanliness and additional staff.

The only positive aspect of our visit was our waitress! She was very understanding and considerate.

We dined on a Saturday night here. There was no wait, the drinks came fast, the appetizer came quick, and the dinner came out fresh and hot. I call that all excellent service! The waiter was very attentive with all his guests. He came to the table plenty of times making sure we were good. I got the trout and man oh man that was delicious!! Hubs said his breakfast burger was great too. And the little store part is so much fun to peruse through. All the nostalgic candy and sodas is fun to see.

We enjoyed our breakfast, quick service, plenty of biscuits, and portion sizes were nice sized. Peyton was a great waitress

This isn’t that Cracker Barrel I remember. Brought biscuits without syrup. You get one syrup at a time upon request. By the time you get syrup, the bread is cold. Then what do you do, tell them to heat up your bread over and over or get one biscuit and syrup at a time. Not sure about this bacon mac and cheese. A very small portion (one ice cream scoop) for $2.40. Plus, I didn’t expect dried bread crumbs atop the mac and cheese. I will not order that again. Grits was spilling on other food on the plate. Just not an overall good presentation or visit. It was not like eating at the family table.

We had an overall decent experience. We waited about 15 minutes before a server came to our table, and service felt pretty slow throughout our visit. I specifically asked for the salad to come out before the rest of the food, but it didn’t arrive until after the entrées. The food itself came out quickly once we ordered and everything tasted great, which we really appreciated. However, our drinks were never refilled. With more attentive service and better timing, this place could be excellent because the food was very good.

Had a breakfast during the lunch dinner. Maybe this is was a mistake. But that was by far the worst breakfast I ever had at Cracker Barrel. Ordered Steak egg and hash brown casserole. The worst steak I ever had in my life… that was not a meat, that was just a piece of muscles with absolutely no seasoning. Only ate about 30% of my steak. Pancakes had literally no buttermilk in it… not fluffy like always

If I could give this location negative 100 stars I would. I was visiting out of town with family for a funeral. We all decided to have dinner before heading to the funeral. Daniel the manager extremely unprofessional and demonstrated poor sense of urgency or empathy or trying to come up with a solution to the problem. Instead he mocked us and laughed in our face about losing someone and trying to get to a funeral. The waitress who took care of us extremely unprofessional didn’t seem like she wanted to wait on us. Didn’t check on us for refills. When taking our order she had asked how we wanted our checks we told her. After the dinner and food was ate she came back to the table thirty minutes after we were done to tell us we could only have five checks. Why ask us who is going on what check if you can’t divide the checks up. Makes zero sense. The three people involved need to be investigated and provided professionalism training and ethics. Not a good look for Cracker Barrel. Even if they decided to trespass us for trying to get them to give a solution to help us and them we do not plan to return here regardless. They do not care about you and laugh about peoples death. If it were up to me they would be terminated but it isn’t my choice. And unfortunately this place will more than likely end up in rumbles like the others at this rate with the unprofessionals who work there. We have videos and images for proof. Hate that this is how the world has to be if it wasn’t recorded it didn’t happen. Didn’t think people acted as immature and childish at a place I certainly have never received bad service from as I frequent Cracker Barrel’s often. I hope they get investigated or provided the opportunity training otherwise this place won’t be lasting much longer.

Atmosphere is “you are at your grandparents” vibe! Three section dining area (roomy but can have a wait time depending on time/season).
Breakfast served ALL day!
Family/Kid friendly! Free parking.
My husband order the Ole Timer with an add on side. I ordered chicken dumplings (my usual). Even though it was not busy, it took quite a while for our food to come out. My husbands eggs were not as ordered. The biscuits (2-no jellies or butter) were cold.
My chicken and dumplings had two pieces of chicken, dumplings were not good.
The okra were hot, crispy, EXCELLENT!
It was a disappointing visit, but we will still go back. Hoping it was an off time, since we were there after the Sunday lunch crowd.

My wife and I decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at Cracker Barrel in Wilmington, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, just like a holiday meal should be. The staff was incredibly friendly, and even with the holiday rush, they made sure everyone felt at home.

The Thanksgiving feast was absolutely delicious. The turkey was moist and perfectly cooked, paired with classic sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes, and green beans that tasted homemade. The cornbread and biscuits were fresh, buttery, and a perfect complement to the meal. To top it all off, the pumpkin pie dessert was the cherry on an already perfect dining experience.

What really stood out was how smoothly everything ran despite it being such a busy day. The servers were attentive, refilling drinks and checking in often, making us feel valued. The restaurant was clean, cozy, and decorated in a way that made it feel like a traditional Thanksgiving at home.

We’re so thankful to have spent our holiday here. Cracker Barrel made our Thanksgiving memorable, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food and an amazing experience.

I ordered from the menu online. Supposed to be Monday special for the holiday grits with shrimp and sausage. They’re five shrimps swimming in a bowl of grits and some sort of red sauce oil swimming in oil. No sausage whatsoever. It was so runny so wet that I had to pour it and sift the grits through and through. That is ridiculous. Calls me $30 for a bowl of soupy oily grits that nobody can eat
