Probably the friendliest staff I’ve had, she timed our food and drinks to come out at a convenient time (main right after apps). Food was huge (I got the XL well done + rare beef pho), tasted great, and was cheap for how much food we had. Thoroughly happy, and will be trying out their other foods!

Family owned restaurant with great food and generous portions at a reasonable price. The woman who runs this place is an absolute powerhouse who keeps everything running smoothly and makes you feel welcome. The food isn’t particularly exciting but it’s always very good and consistent. A solid spot that never disappoints.

Really nice spot for Vietnamese food. To all my fellow Vietnamese Canadians born before 2000 who reminisce about viet food when it was way cheaper “back in the day”, this spot will bring you right back. Pho was like $11-$13.

We’ve passed by Pho Rang Dong many times but never went in. Somebody told us that it’s pretty good pho a while ago, so after tobogganing, we decided to try it. The woman serving us was super nice and seemed to know some other customers by name. She urged me to try the hot and sour pho, which I did. The soup was delicious. not too sweet and just a bit spicy. I got it with seafood. The shrimp were perfectly done. great sides, like sprouts, basil, lime and cilantro.
My wife got the rare beef pho and she said it was good too.
They accommodated my son’s food requests no problem as well.

$5.25 soursop fruit milkshake (recommended by server lady to try) good, a little too sweet but creamy delectable 7/10.
+13% tax = $35.59
She charged me $43.50 (+$7.40 overcharge) and haggled an extra 11% tip to the overcharge (which I obliged)
Total: 47.85
I understand that sometimes businesses are struggling and some corners have to be cut in order to keep the doors open. I get it, running a restaurant is hard work. However, these little overcharges (I’ve read other stories in the reviews) is just leeching.
It’s disgusting behaviour, and unprofessional at minimum. I have to share this with friends & family, (including you reading this) because this place is now “that store” for me. I won’t fight the 11 bucks, it’s unnecessary. If you need it, you need it. Hopefully what you stole from me can be used to buy some extra herbs for a dish, spend less on cleaning products for the month, or help with decorations for a catering event. If the $11 can do anything positive to help your restaurant, I’ll be generally content.
I wish you the best of luck with your future endeavours. I will no longer patronize your restaurant.

Me and my fiancé have been eating here for a couple of years now. It’s such a calming, traditional Vietnamese vibe. It’s my favourite pho in the city (simple, not too salty). The mango salad and fresh rolls are both apps to try. The price is also very fair and affordable compared to other pho restaurants that are not as authentic as Rang Dong. Lovely owner and quick service.

first time went here with a friend the grilled chicken is NOT good and the spring rolls I ordered she didn’t give the right one over all I give 4/10 and the Lady add 16% tips and she was like tap tap I asked her to see the machine and she pulled it away and put it towards my card. That wasn’t Nice and I will Not go back there or recommend No one

Make sure you get a receipt and check your change!! We were overcharged and didn’t receive a receipt (we should have asked for one), and only realized the mistake once we got home. I paid in cash and was also asked to leave a tip on a plate set up at the counter.
The service wasn’t great, I had to wait quite a while just to pay because no one was around. The food was decent, but not good enough for us to return.
