My family had a birthday party for my sister and her husband and this was our first time visiting the restaurant. They accommodated our party of 20 with no problem. The service was excellent and the food was great with large portions and everyone pleased with their meals. Salad bar is fresh with many choices. My husband had the brisket sandwich and said it was seasoned well and delicious. I wish I could remember the names of our two waitresses so I could give the kudos for their wonderful and friendly service. We will definitely be returning!

The fries were hot, fresh & delicious but I’m sorry to say the brisket sandwich was not good at all… First of all the meat was dark, tough and lacked flavor.. Brisket I’ve had elsewhere has been tender, juicy and more pinkish with lots of flavor… The cashier was nice! I will return for the salad bar though!

Decided to try, Sadly big disappointment. Service was good greated immediately but considering there was 1 other couple there why wouldn’t they, Waitress was friendly. Ordered the brisket sandwich with sweet BBQ sauce and the brisket platter with cabbage with salad bar. Sandwich, well was OK nothing special the bark was WAY to peppery and most of it was scrapped off, not moist but not dry. The sweet sauce immediately recognized as Sweet baby rays which personally sucks and has ingredients that I cant eat (didnt see that on the menu) if that’s what you’re offering just put the bottle on the table instead of trying to pass something off. Cabbage again chill on the pepper. Salad bar was clean and probably the best thing they offered. The prices for what was ordered were very expensive. Could have driven to Florence and ate Holt brothers cheaper.

Nice little mom and pop joint. Generous portions so you definitely get your money’s worth here and the food is great. Good salad bar also. Definitely one of the best local spots in Sumter.

My biscuit was old and hard crumble and when I tried to pick it up, I had to keep it wrapped in the paper for the one bite that I took so it didn’t fall apart. Hashbrowns were barely even cooked for two biscuits hashbrowns and two teas $26. Not that we’re gonna eat any of it really but if we were, there was no silverware given to us to.

Google had me make reservations. It’s a family style restaurant and didn’t require reservations. Good food and great service. Casual dining. Beer, wines, and great desserts.

Order was messed up, food was okay, price was high. Customer service was sad. After standing alone grabbing our own menu’s, someone came from the back looking and acting like we were strangers that walked into her house. We told her that we wanted our food to go but might eat some there since we were on a time schedule. After a few minutes of confusion she says “Im not the one that takes to go orders” and goes to get another person. Employee #2 only said “What do you want?” after positioning herself behind the register. After ordering, people started to trickle in. After three sets of orders came out, ours finally arrived. With no words, it was handed to us.

– Potato wedges
– Broccoli
What i got:
– Butter boiled shrimp
– Unsalted, shoelace fries
– Unseasoned, boiled broccoli
Food was bad, I just think customer service and price dosen’t match the product.
