Wow, che serata… mamma mia che bontà
We tried this Italian restaurant for the first time tonight, with Calabrian and Sardinian specialties, and honestly… the food was fantastic. Probably the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever tried abroad. or at least one of the very best.
The ingredients were clearly authentic, especially the cured meats and cheeses… unbelievably good. For a moment it really felt like being in Sardinia. The pasta with sea urchins had a true, deep taste of the sea, authentic and unforgettable. The tagliata was excellent, perfectly cooked.
And the digestifs… mirto and Amaro del Capo, which are so hard to find outside Italy, che spettacolo! Even the house red wine was surprisingly good, absolutely recommended.
Service was excellent: Italian staff (a huge plus), warm, welcoming, attentive but never intrusive. The interior is very charming and carefully decorated. The tables are nicely spaced, the noise level is low, so it’s super easy to have a relaxed conversation, cosa rarissima nowadays!
And the soundtrack… simply wonderful. Hearing songs by Lucio Battisti, Fabrizio De André, and Vasco Rossi in the background gave the whole evening a beautifully authentic Italian atmosphere. Stupenda, davvero stupenda.

Didn’t expect it could be THAT tasty!!! Very happy we decided to go here.

One perfect examples in which two different regional Italian cooking styles are coexisting perfectly.
i have tried ‘Antipasto di salumi’, and ‘Rigatoni con salsiccia’, simply amazing, all refreshed by an ‘Ichnusa non filtrata’. All the courses were very good, tasty, and had fresh flavours.
Last but not least, it is really clean from the dining table to the services. to me a great 5 stars!
