Yesterday on 2/11/26, I had the worst hotdog that I have had in my 45 yrs of living and I feel like it was purposely done. I walked in and spoke with the young lady at the counter. She was a pleasure to deal with. I look up amd see an old woman in the back that resembled Granny Clampett from The Beverly Hillbillies. The look that she gave me was awful and it let me know that “my kind” are not welcome.
Anyways dealing with the young lady upfront, I went ahead and placed my order in good faith.
I got my food and proceeded to my vehicle. While in the parking lot, I took my first bite of my hotdog. It had a crazy twang to it as far as taste goes. I figured that it was my drink mixed with it, so I took another bite. Same twangy horrible taste. After about 20 mins, I started sweating and vomiting and, the cramps in my stomach were unreal! I am at home sick today. I haven’t been able to keep anything down except a little bit of water. I either have food poisoning, or that old lady in the back put something in my food. I will never ever go back there!!!

Taste wise, this was probably the worst burger I’ve ever had in terms of restraunt burgers(aka not McDonald’s, and such). It tasted kinda like low quality meat with a slight sweet taste and a different textured bun. I will say though that while I didn’t like the food, if you happen to be hungry and need to go to the bathroom I would say it works well as the staff are generally nice.

Unbelievable, fresh ingredients, very polite staff, probably local family owned (I don’t know but I felt their pride in service and product), The BEST Cheeseburger that I’ve had in years, wish I ordered more, the price is great, the burger was HUGE probably billions upon billions and billions of millimeters HUGE for the money, fresh and craving for more. “I’ll Be Back”!

If you are looking for a cheap quick burger and you are is Marshall this is probably the right place to go. But if I had to be there again I would go else where. They provide an honest meal in a local/cold environment but the burger and the bun are just not very good and while we had a simple order they managed to get it wrong. Burger patty looks like it was frozen and bought at Ingles around the corner. The “jumbo”

Classic Marshall staple. One of the best burgers in the Madison/Buncombe county area. Not expensive, great variety, and friendly staff. Huge and open sitting area. It’s been here for decades and I hope it stays!

The cheeseburger was very good and so were the french fries. They were out of sweet tea which was a bummer, but we did arrive an hour before they closed. We will come back and try out their specials.

the burger and crinkle cut fries are edible but both on the lower end quality wise, I think their target customer is probably the nearby high-school students .

I’ve been coming here for years. For lunch I usually get Burgers and Fries we always enjoy the food. I stopped in today for breakfast for the first time and had the biscuits and gravy two eggs, hash brown, two slices of ham, and coffee for $6.96 which I enjoyed very much. You can expect to pay up to $15 to $20 in other restaurants. I was full after I ate it I have no complaints the price is right and food was good. the place is very clean people are very nice.
