This place is an addiction for me.. Inise to live near Livingston.. Now as a truck driver who lives in St. Louis area, I stop here every chance I get.. The BBQ steak sandwich is amazing.. I get the whole so I have left over to heat up down the road.. There is no truck parking as its down town.. But I have found a small spot down street that works jist long enough to go in.. Staff always been good, but the food is yummmm

Prices have increased 60% since 2020. You’ll get 1/4 pickle instead of a whole one. The sandwiches are smaller and tasteless. What happened? My last visit. Place like this will be closed in the next few years. The one in Billings is already gone.

WONT BE BACK.
I love PB Sandwiches and have rarely been able to satisfy the craving since the Billings location closed.
However after getting not the wrong sandwich but the vegetables I asked the add were for dinner reason served in s container on the side. Upon returning to ask for the proper sandwich they stated that I was served the sandwich I ordered. Which was incorrect, a few moments later I was handed a new sandwich with what i can only state was udder distain zero eye contact and a very harsh “here.” This sandwich while the correct type was soggy as though dipped in water and physically dripping with mayo when i specifically asked for mayo. It’s sad to see that a Montana Icon has fallen so far.. perhaps someday soon the franchisee and corporate will focus more on quality and consumer relations and I will give it one more shot. Until then I’ll find another sandwich shop with employees that care.

When you see the other reviews of the sandwiches being big they’re not kidding. The nice girl at the counter tried to tell me. I should have listened. I ordered the whole Dragon Slayer(great name). It was 16 inches. Basically 4 sandwiches. I had 2 that day. Great service. Park on the street next door. I’d go back if I didn’t live so far away 🙁

What a waste of money! Pickle Barrel’s milkshakes used to be so thick and delicious and now they charge $8 for what tastes like a cup of milk. Increasing the cost while reducing the quality is a sure fire way to lose repeat business.

Nice sandwich shop in downtown Livingston. Big sandwiches are enough for 2 meals, and there is plenty of room at the tables.

Heard they were closed, tried calling 10 times over a week, phone was either busy or rang forever. Bozeman location says they aren’t the same owner so they have no idea if they are still open. Reading these reviews it wouldn’t surprise me if they closed.

I usually love this place, but the last couple of times have been horrible. I have always gotten a milkshake with my sandwich and today I was told VERY rudely that she absolutely could not make me a milkshake, but made the person behind me one. I understand if you cant because you dont have milk or something like that, but you have to communicate with your customers. I have had a few encounters with the lady in the front, and she is extremely rude. Do better. Also, $8 for a quarter of a sandwich is insane!

First, a huge thank you to the staff who put together and delivered meals to our entire staff!
We ordered sandwiches, chips, and cookies from PB for our office symposium this year. Everything was well organized and the sandwiches were cut into quarters for sharing. Delivery was right on time and our staff really enjoyed the spread. Thanks for making our catered lunch easy and delicious!

My parents and I stopped as this is their favorite place (Pickle barrel- Livingston) to stop when we travel. The sandwiches are good. The person (short grey hair) helping us order was very rude, unfriendly. She had a tone and was very short. My fm is hard of hearing and she over exagerated when she spoke to them and rude. I was ticked as that is my parent and I don’t appreciate that at all. Not pleasant at all. I haven’t felt that disrespected in a while. I don’t review places much, but this was so discouraging as this is a place we enjoy going to go when we travel. After this experience we will find another place to stop. Very disappointing.
