When first walking in to the restaurant, I noticed the music and the atmosphere. They people there were very friendly and smiling. I enjoyed their up beat music selection as well.
The food itself was really good. Isn’t smelled great and tasted even better. I’d say the food full of flavor. They have a good selection of different kinds of fries. They also have a decent size list of cocktails with variety.
I would definitely recommend the fried steak burrito! Get a side of the garlic fries and put them into the burrito. It was so good!
All right, I think the only change I would recommend. This is add more mac and cheese balls to the appetizer. They were really good but I felt like there just wasn’t enough however I do also eat a lot!

Looking at the menu and I saw that sweet honey cornbread and that’s what led me there lol. In all honesty they’ve definitely exceeded my expectations with the presentation and the delicious taste of the food! Everything was on point with that Southern homestyle taste to it especially the chili beans and hot catfish. I love the atmosphere and how they have board games you can play while waiting on your food or just in general. The waitresses were welcoming and attentive which made the whole experience top tier. Definitely will be back 10/10

Went during lunch! Chloe was great! The person bringing our food out was wonderful smiling and pleasant. The menu was more extensive than I thought and I was pleasantly surprised that they have a full bar!! The food was fast, delicious, and fairly priced – althoug the shrimp protein charge is a bit high. I will definitely be returning.

She truly has a knack for comfort food and the place makes you want to kick your shoes off because you’ll truly feel at home.

What in the world?! I’m so mad that this place has been here for over a year and I had no clue. Now I know this may sound dramatic, but…this wasn’t supper…this was church. Soulful religious experience! Have you ever sat down for a meal and been so disappointed because you felt like it was a waste of hard-earned money? Let me just tell you…that is not an issue here! Guy Fieri better get his butt to Gastonia, QUICK! The food isn’t even the only thing to brag about! The prices are comparable to fast food, the atmosphere is cool but family friendly and the staff is kind! So happy to have discovered this GEM and also happy to be supporting a Black owned business! Already planning our next trip!

I have fallen in love with this place. The food is flavorful and tastes fresh and homemade. We had garlic parm fries, mac and cheese, hot dogs and onion rings. All of the food was outstanding, finally a place that reminds me of afternoons with grandma! Eating home cooked food that gives you a hug at the same time. SIGN ME UP. It’s rare to find a place that checks all the boxes and Mic’s Kitchen really has!
The music and atmosphere is different but homey at the same time. Our server, TT, was so friendly and helped us make our menu choices. Highly recommend dinning here.

Chicken Philly Cheesesteak was delicious. If ordered again I’d add extra cheese. Hot dog was good, but would get a different side than Mac&Cheese (not traditional, old bay Mac?) as it was too liquidy and not great. Fried Brussels were on point and the glazed cornbread could have been saved for dessert vs appetizer. Food is fresh, service was good, place was clean.

What an unexpected pleasure! We had outstanding service with Kayla H!!! She was so friendly, upbeat , professional and prompt! The food was delicious! My husband had the shrimp poboy which had tremendous flavor and I had the kale salad with fried chicken added on. Truly one of the best salads I’ve had in a very long time. I would absolutely recommend Mic’s if you’re looking for a great meal with a casual atmosphere!

Best restaurant in Gastonia. Food and drinks are amazing. The staff are extremely friendly. The owner is Extremely friendly and works as if she is an employee not just the owner. 10/10 recommend. I definitely recommend the sundrop martini or the purple Joe. And for food the cheesesteak burrito. Wings are amazing also tons of different flavors. Key was amazing on the drinks. The chefs in the back are AMAZING

We visited on a holiday (July 4th), and it was great. The wait was a little longer than we hoped, but we completely understood because it was packed. We were seated immediately, and someone took our order after 5-10 minutes. The servers were wonderful. Always checked in to make sure we had drinks needed anything while we waited on our food. They even had a cute game piece on the table to play. The restaurant is modern chic, lots of big TVs nice size bar, an outdoor patio with more games. This is a wonderful place to bring your family and hang out. The food was exceptional. I highly recommend it!
